You try put on mainstand and turn the steering. It should turn left and right smoothly. If you feel like a knob in the centre, then steering cone have start to wear off le.

Hi, fellows

I just changed my X9 battery and the volt meter read at 11v when my headlight turned on. If the fan start turning, it will read 10v-10.5v. Is this normal? I worried the bike will die on me again.

Hope to hear from the expert here...

is the engine running when it show those readings? If engine is running, the reading seems a little low. however, some voltmeter are off by 0.5v or so. Best is to test with multimeter at the battery.

yeah... they are running... When bought the batt, the mech did a check on the multimeter.. Its read 12.4v. After i install the batt myself, my volt meter read 12 with everyting turn OFF....

Don`t trust the volt meter. try use a multi-meter to test. When @ idle, let say 3k rpm. you should be getting 13.5-14.4v. normal idle i get about 12.7v with all lights on. Idle with lights off is about 13.3v @1.5-2k rpm.

This is test your charging. how to test battery i can`t advised much.

X9 200 Side Mirrors straight from Piaggio cost $220 just for 1 side (The type can fold in, OEM Mirrors). Some workshops might be able to get cheaper OEM mirrors, maybe save you $30 or so.

For address of Wonderful Motors, ain't sure about it. But you can also look around Kallang Industrial area, there are a list of Scooter shops there like Tai Hin, FutureScootering, Sunrise... etc.

Hi,

My digital panel just went silly and the hazard light always on, impossible to stop. Sometimes I can stop by pressing horn button and hazard button in short sequence. Then turn light don't function...

Shop says it's because of rain but my bike seldom stays outside... have been drying in the sun for several days and still issue persists... **** Piaggio not reliable...

Any suggestions? Shop say I have to buy new panel 400$$$!!

Any second hand panel available from scrapped bikes?

Let me know if u have a good plan to find solutions... or if u know a shop who can sell for good price.

Cheers,

Alex

Bumped from rear right by red convertible today around 6.16pm at junction of Upper Cross & Telok Ayer by arrogant caucasian driver. Dropped X9 and broke left mirror. Sratches on rear right and exhaust. What an intimidating experience ...

To Kenny Seaw . Today my friend come to your workshop regarding his X9 Amlfi number Fv4__1 grey in colour. Bike was towed to your workshop. On the phone you told him the repair was bet $600-$700. When he came down u change the price to $1200. My friend then decide to scrap the bike. Hearing this u lowered the price of repair to $800.

my question is how can u quickly change the repair price from $600 to $1200 then down to $800? It question the integrity of you and the way u quote repair prices. Hope u can ans my queries.

Hello All

I'm so sorry to digress your exchanges. I have a few questions about getting a X9 and guessed this will be the best place I can ask.

I'll be getting my 2B soon, am 26 this year, not sure how much wil my insurance be? Was quoted abt 400 plus

What's the difference between a X9 Amalfi and Evo besides the engine capacity? In terms of maintenance, which will be more economical?

Is it better / cheaper to buy one from the shops or from private sellers through your experiences? How much should I have in cash to afford one if I pay via installments?

Thanks alot!!
