Let me know something again.

When you off the bike, does the temp meter return back to 6 o'clock or stop somewhere else??? Is so, its just need to place the needle back to 6 o'clock position.

If not, your temp sensor is gone, need replacment.

X9 front caliper tend to jam due to poor maintance of the bike...

Please visit back the shop to ask them clear the built up of brake dust.

well, you can check around few bikeshop see how much to repair temp meter/sensor. My bike fan will kick in if my temp climb close to HIGH.. to cool down the heat... So if your meter spoilt, then how your fan kick in?? In long term, this may not be good for your bike ya..

Fill it till tiak sound then round off to the nearest cents.

How petrol is leak......

Our fuel sensor is 1 big round tube with a rubber ring on top. It sit @ above 1cm below the brim. as time goes by, the rubber ring no longer able to seal the petol inside the tank, therefore it leak.

Normal idle RPM is about 1.5~1.8k.

I set it about 1.6~1.8 to prevent the belt from keep on hitting the centre idle roller.

Next time lets host a mini meet up for coffee session.

Hi bros and sisters,

i recently bought my evo, but the cooling fluid temp indicator always in red zone, want to ask is it normal? do i need to add any water or some other thing inside?

also sometime i the key to the off sign there but my engine does not stop running! how did that happen!!!???

also wondering if the service light is shown, what are the parts need to be service?

please help me the new rider... thank you very much.

hi bros, sorry for not scrolloing back to check. Any good suggustions to change the windscreen? I just brought awhile ago and realise the windscreen is dirty. Is there any small windscreen that i can change and the price?

for the temp, is it u run for a very long time den immediately shoot to red?

this is what i experience:

- along expressway, run for about 8km touch red, suddenly coolant blust out from cap. (hot)

- when to repair and realise water pump spoilt.

- after reparing, still didn't solve.

- run for less den 1km shoot to red zone

- after 3 times of analysis (change coolants, fan switch, water pump pipe), motorshop realise is the temp thermometer spoilt.

what i propose is really, go to the bike shop and check it out. don't wait till too late else like me, got a damage of $300+ excluding all the time stuck @ expressway when going for a meeting.. haha

1.i think your radiator could possibly be choked with dirt/dust.... which results in your temp always high side. check your coolant before you start your bike and see if there is sufficent coolant. beside that have your coolant reservoir flushed. if still same, check water pump and temp indicator.

2. key off, "engine running"?? if sound is from front, that's your raditor fan. it will on when it's too hot..... after cool to certain temp, it will auto off. no worries abt it one.

3. svc light on, could means EO usage reach 3k liao..... just change EO and alternate EO change, change filter.
