Hi, can I just I check, I just bought a 7 yrs old x9 180 and when I am riding at low speed , the ride seems bumpy, when I'm at 60-70, the metal scraping sound, anyone knows what it means ?

 

If possible bring down to check..... from the net hard to determine...

Kutrax- did you manage to solve ur lose power issue when cruising?

i have similar issue, after cruising den just lose power n cant seem to accelerate. my rpm will start to jump if try accelerate further. spark plug issue? eo?

ok here my prob,

 

my bike now have this problem.. sometimes during cruising bike will lose power till engine stall.

After a few crank normally ok..

 

what is the problem?

 

Bike engine stall at expressway is no joke

 

Few things may cause this happen >

 

1. Carb manifold break

2. carb dirty

3. Fuel filter dirty

4. spark cap loss

5. Cyclinder head too much carbon cause lose of compressions

 

I will still advise you to send to bike shop for a check.

actually i went to futurescootering twice in 2 weeks.

initially chg starter relay, den magnetic+coil. n den carb service n chg the carb "junction" or something.

 

at least, last time i can hit 80km/h but now struggling get constant 60km/h! n i still having this irritating issue...

Maybe muhyiddiin should get a second opinion from other workshop rather than occur further pocket damage.

after changing so many items, i'll insist the shop repair my bike FOC till its running well. if not, i'll go other shop, n claim back from the 1st shop.

thanks to Kenny for taking up my call and try to understand d situation. i guess we do understand x9 can be a problematic bike, my bike is old etc, n i im actuali ok to spend d money previously hoping it will solve all issues for gd. but if issue re-occur or possibly lead to another issue, its like how waste we had "invested" n definitely we seek for other opinions.

its nt meant to say or label 1 bike shop is bad, coz im happy enuf to go back to d same shop (as i have alredi did b4) as i trust the workmanship n friendliness it provides. im just hoping n praying as a customer, all b resolved soon for gd. sometimes d agony as I have to push my bike all d way back to my parking lot today as my old bike decide to be naughty to me again n stall at d traffic junction. lucky enuf not stranded at expressway. d frustration it can be

YOu are always welcome, our duty is to help you understand more on your love bike. Atleast, my guy did take the time to explain to you why it had to be re-place and is proven that the thing changed was faulty.

bro, i believe if change both u hv a better deal. but, if ur front is stil in very gd condition, u may jus wanna save that xtra money. fyi, i changed to mgs for $190.

I am using it on my 500.... feel the same for dry grip... wet floor feel confidence... yet to try on heavy rain....
