Hi all.

As x9 200 would be my first bike.I'm not very sure how to check the bike. What are the key points to check when it comes to viewing or test riding the bike? Although in the forum got guides how to check here and there before buying a bike,but i don't really quite trust myself...

Any recommendations on how to go about doing it? will any shop willing to do it for me?

And how much does a typical second hand x9 FZ plate costs ?

A X9 typical maintenance other than belt roller uclip, EO GO air filter oil filter, will also have to factor in clutch and also coolant pump that will fail you almost every year.

 

Clutch slip seems like a norm thing for X9 so even if you have changed the clutch, you will hear that irritating sound sooner or later.

 

I believe it's not X9's issue. It's the transmission that they use.

I have rode X9, GT200 and Atlantic which uses the same transmission. All I can say is maybe Italian make is somewhat not as good as Japanese made.

My Piaggio X9 battery weak, is that possible to charge it myself? if yes, what tools i need? and where can I buy it? . If I bring the battery to bike shop to charge it? how much they will charge me? Just indication cost will do. For new battery how much it cost? I was thinking if battery condition no good no point keep it. Thanks

Just a screw driver to removed the 2 screw @ the Rear seat.

You will then be able to remove the rear cover.

 

Normally shop will charge about $5 for charging of batt. Some is free if you know them.

 

Ah boy selling YTX-12BS @$60 with free gift.... what free gift depend on your skill le....

 

I got throttle rocker and OGK arm cover.

My wind shield broke so need to replace it.

My LED meter is damaged so need to get a second hand one.

have got a few questions as im totally new to scooters. following are the few things that are surfacing;

 

- RPM not working

- Hazard lights switch is faulty, must press damn hard to activate and deactivate.

- back signals, brake, lights all not working properly, including left pole lights not lighted up.

- LHS mirror gone ( any lobang for 2nd hand one??? )

- Exhaust midpipe got hole, thus giving out louder note ( where can i get it weld?? )

- Side stand welding totally gone ( where can i get it welded back ?)

- Also, plan to SERVICE it too.

 

 

Hope someone can answer me with the price and shops where i could get it done.

i can be reachable @ninefourthreezerozerofivetwosix if need to =D

welcome to the Piaggioees. A jumpstart to recondition your ride would be "wonderful motor', Botak the mechanics. He is one good guru of the scooter i must say though you don't get to see fancy showroom.

just call his cell, 9693 6520 before courtesy visit. He don't give impressive talks but fix it right the first time.

to prevent cats from scatching or even sit on your sit, jus place a wet cloth. cause cats doesnt like to be wet.... tried and works

btw my FC only 20km/L, why so little de har? I just change airfilter, change both tires, so the pressure shb be ok.. Issit the previous owner never run in properly?
