Yes...mine was new old stock... bought from my mate Yusri... you can find them here and there... budget around $50-60... Tong Aik may have...

Hi guys, i have a classic vespa for sale, Details not very sure coz i laid up the bike 6mths ago and left it over at my friends place.

 

am returning overseas soon and might not be coming back in the coming years so i finally thought of letting go of this bike.

 

would post up the details soon but just trying to see whether anyone from the club would wana get the ride.

 

 

its a modded classic, i did change quite a few stuffs inside and i can assured that the engine is working fine. i'm looking at ard 2k.

 

the photo should tell roughly how the scoot looks. there are certainly wear and tear but a repaint should do the job.

i went there to fix signal light cover. he charged me 7bux/pc.

I usually go to Tong Aik... but that's just me... plenty of other places, eg Ban Hoe Leong in Jln Besar Plaze...

Hi Guys, may i know wats the market value of a Vespa Sprint. There was a AU plate sprint going for $2000 recently COE 2012 Felt that it was reasonable.

 

Can someone advise me pls

as im a recent vespa convert, i did some mkt research prior to owning one.

i think 2k for a sprint, will require some works.

but, if ur not particular , and prefer to do it up to your own liking, i think its a rather good px to pay for a pet project bike.

i was thinking of adding a rear storage box for storing my helmet + other barang.

the usual givi boxes are abit boring... thgt of the following:

 

- fabricate a stainless steel box. (weatherproof, will be pricey, but will be something different)

- use the rattan basket type. but exposed to rain, (but i did thgt of fixing acrylic sheets inside and line it with rubber gaskets, so it will be waterproof)

 

any one here with some other different or interesting design of rear storage?

leong something if im not wrong. was desperate the other time to change my brakepads, change my EO at the same time... cost me like around $50....

felt cheated but too newbie so didn't question too much...

 

anyway i think they didn't fasten my rear wheel nuts properly, thus causing my rear wheel to drop...

 

my friend change his spark plug for his phantom. costed him $18...

if you are looking for 2nd hand classics, i think you will have a hard time getting installment/hire purchase as they can't valuate the scoot. I know Ah Joo allows installment with him, do check out how it works...

 

Doubt any pte seller will let you pay them by installments also lah =)

i lazy to twist so much.

so , play with clutch, move with 2nd gear.

hmm, i wonder, if there will be any side effects? like uneven gear/clutch wear?
