I googled ACM for like 10 minutes and mostly found Asian Civilisation Museum and ACM shipping. Even ACM in combination with singaporebikes did not find anything... :-) Any full name or address?

 

The exhausts you mention; all illegal I guess?

Haha didn't know my number plate got spotted by so many of you. Gotta get some undertail and hide it.

Enjoined my new Tmax very short.

 

Bought Tuesday, went to Arai just now to get a new helmet. When I want to go it does not run. It started but died after 5 seconds. Tried starting for 30 minutes; nothing... Totally dead. Called Yamaha who told me to try again in 1 hour. I objected and told them don't want to wait one hour each time I want to start. They then sent an ambulance.

 

Could be the much discussed fuel pump. The engine cranks but appears there is no fuel... Bike is almost 2 years old. If it is indeed the pump, would it fall under warranty or recall?

 

More news next week... :-(

Yamaha Tmax 2011 (Current rides now)

Did you hear the sound of your fuel pump motor when u switch on? Your bike may not be covered under warranty as its over 2yrs but hopefully they cover it under recall.

 

Do keep us update. As most of us here have already exceeded the warranty period and will like to know what's HL reaction to the faulty pump if they'll cover it under recall or not.

I did not notice the typical whizzing sound of a fuel pump but must admit that because I only have it a few days I'm not yet used to the sounds it is supposed to make when you turn the key and start...

 

My bike is actually 1 year and 11 months. Is the warranty period 2 years? I actually don't know.

Thanks for the offer but actually want the Yoshi R77. How come yours is legal? The importer has to arrange this right? Or can you go to LTA yourself to get an exhaust approved after a quick review?

For the Yoshimura R-77, get it from eBay... Way cheaper ....

For the Yoshimura R-77, get it from eBay... Way cheaper ....

 

Yep. Carbon R77 full system including shipping to SG only S$700. But customs will probably add another 7% ;-)

 

And if I understand correctly, if the police catches me I loose the exhaust plus S$1000 fine...
