may i know why u change belt, is there any sign of symptom tat you ride very uncomfortable, or is it tat you simply feel it is time to change cos of high mileage. 17590 miles = 28 144 km.

I'm currently on my stock belt and has completed 17590mile.

Paid mine $190.00 foe Vbelt and $10.00 per OEM roller plus $70.00 labour charge. I followed what the manual says ... at 12kmiles replaced ... but the belt still looks good for maybe another 5K miles !

Any1 having front disc rub problem?

Mine keep rubbing all the time. My ex bike has the same problem too and cant be solved.

One of my front disc is warped. It has this rubbing sound when hot and jerky brake when slowing down.

 

Some possible reason for your case could be worn brake pads, dirty or stuck caliper piston, air bubble in brake fluid or warped disc. Some unlikely case could be miss aligned caliper or wheel.

1. Rack with hardware (1 metal pipe/brace missing; there are three to the left of the picture. There should be four. It slipped out of my hand when I took it off and fell in a drain. Can get for 1 dollar in hardware shop. Just need to look)

2. Mounted 46L Kappa box with two keys

3. Back panel in yellow with the hole for mounting so you won't have to cut up your own. If you have yellow, good luck. If not spray in the correct color or cut up your own :-)

 

All as new, see picks. Please note this is for the new model, 2008 onwards.

I finally got my brand new T max today le from hong leong yamaha bike shop.

 

i got some issue here .

 

i am a 1.8 metre tall guy . i realize when stop at red light my both feet need to tip toe in order to balance, maybe the seat too wide or wat tat i dont noe. but if rest one leg on the stand my the other leg den can rest flatly on the ground but the thing is hard to balance pillion . even no pillion also a bit difficult to balance. do u all encounter this ??

i got another issue of my current givi maxia E52 box.

 

i bought tat silver thick thick rack from yamaha cost me $600 but my maxia cannot fit in. my maxia catchment is 2 hole at the back ready to insert tat rack but tat rack came with 2 hole also left and rite.Therefore cannot insert .

 

yamaha mechanic told me i need to buy a base mount onto the $600 rack den can work. do u all guy encounter this b4 ?

Tmax is like that. try to sit infront a bit instead of leaning all the way back. there is NO WAY to reduce the seat height. unless you want to get another seat like the corbin above or cut the seat on your own.

 

as for the corbin, i asked my friend staying in the states to order for me .... and ill pay for the shipping. they do not accept non US credit cards so if you want to buy from the website have to do TT which means incurring bank charges of about $80

 

seat should be coming end of next month if nothing goes wrong.

this bike really poison ... haha

After 2 1/2 years, the fuel pump finally died on me today while doing 100km along PIE. WTF, I was on the move when the pump died ... this is some serious **** !!! To me, HL should issue a safety recall. Had it towed to bike-shop and sold it off. Bought a SYM GTS200 for commutting. Guys, from what I experienced today, you guys should bang table at HL regarding this issue and ask HL to replace an upgraded fuel pump before someone gets killed.
