I'm contemplating to buy either the Tmax 500 (hopefully the 50th anniversary edition) or the new 530. Upon reading this thread you guys intro me the BMW 600/650. Giving the thoughtful details BMW put into their machines, I'll wait till March (as shared above) before decide again. Thanks for sharing. Nice and friendly people here.

You are welcome

Just the BMW price tag could be scary but than the new tmax price is sure to go up too so it may not be huge difference too

Changed my belt at 14k miles. Inspected everything and looks like it can still last a few more thousand miles. Only the roller worn out about 2 mm which is making quite a bit of noise.

Everything including belt, roller, slider and gear oil less than $350 from iMotor. Price for rollers I'm not too sure but belt is around 220.

Accordingly the info is dat the mileage is about 45K miles or equals to 72,000 kms. Remember it is an 2008 bike.

My guess is that the Global ride should be in better shape.

Given the current bike prices and COE, I think I wld rather keep my TMax for a long time to come. The white ants are also beefing up their arsenal with better technologies making riding above 30 kms the speed limit too easy a thing to do, then kana caught become court case.

Sorry dat my signature haven't changed, I forgot how I did it the first time.

For me I feel dat the TMax is a good allrounder as it is. :-)

I think what they do is they consolidate some orders together and try to save on shipping costs, hence the waiting time can be super long.

The last time I tried ordering from them, I had to wait a long few months, in the end I gave up and swapped it for something else, an LED tail light for my Busa.

THis Silverstone website you pointed to, the items quite expensive is it? I dunno but is it normal for the LED tail light to be selling for US$362?
