The left and right side air filter actually filters what??

I just cannot understand do belts need air filter and 2???

Cuz the belt system need to have air flow to cold it down. If unfiltered air, it'll be very dirty which accelerate wear and tear. Most scoot have some kind of filter for the belt. Even a runner has one.

 

Just too bad I can't find a reuseable on. Only polini has the round type and not both.

 

Rain pls go away or rain at e correct time.

Guys, i have a Qs. how many of you change to aftermarket exhaust and what your review on the Price/Sound/Overall?

Coz i thinking of changing but cant really make up my mind as i feel the stock exhaust is fine as well..

Ex - Honda CB400.

Ex - Yamaha Fazer S2.

Ex - Yamaha R1.

Ex - Suzuki Hayabusa.

Ex - Yamaha Spark.

Ex - Yamaha Tmax.

Current -

Honda Jazz.

Kawasaki ZX6R.

anything but yoshimura R77... Im on it and its too loud! LV and akra sound nice in my opinion. wats more they are street legal!!

how much did you buy your brand new Tmax?

I intend to get the new 2012 Tmax 530cc. Want to estimate the price.

currrent model ia $20kplus so expect to cost abit more for 30cc more!

Hi there fellow riders, im prolly goin to get a 2012 tmax after new year. Was wondering, current model apparently has the "fuel pump" issues and do you think yamaha made any changes to the 2012 model? thanks alot, hope to join u guys for some kopi session or cruisin', cheers.

I read in other thread that the new FZ 8 N also cost around $20k (from Hong Leong, official dealer). Anyone knows why 2 different bikes of different cc cost the same? If it's true, think Tmax 530cc will have few buyers.

You just answered the question yourself, 2 different bikes.

Even different bikes same cc cost different as well....YZF125, NCX125 and YBR125...

TMAX is a premier scoot while FZ8 is a street bike struck in between FZ6 and FZ1. Might as well top 1-2k and get the FZ1 if you are buying FZ8. As least you get all the bells and whistles..

Hi guys sorry to disturb you with the question that I'm going to ask below.

 

1.) Is TMAX easy to handle?

Might want to change my ride from GSXR1000 to TMAX, just want a relax ride. Worried that i can't adapt to the seating posture.

 

2.) Is TMAX easy to maintain?

Not sure if scotter require extra attention.

 

Please spare some effort to help me clear my doubt, advance thanks to all who are willing to help.

It's damm agile and if you are good, you might even overtake some 1litre bike at corners! Posture wise, you don't have to worry a bit. It's a comfy ride for sure, TMAX is the best bike I've ridden so far!

 

2.) Is TMAX easy to maintain?

Not sure if scotter require extra attention.

 

TMAX is the most costly in the maxiscoot range in terms price, maintenance and parts. But that can't compare to the fun you get out from it.

 

Please spare some effort to help me clear my doubt, advance thanks to all who are willing to help.

 

In short, worth the price IMO!
