Hi Bro, the H&B Journey 52 TC cost $600 including rack and base plate. It can fit 2 full face helmets. Compared to the Maxia 52, I feel that the Journey 52 TC is thicker height wise, which means it can hold a bit more. More importantly, the box holds down to the rack better than the maxia. It doesn't wobble on the base plate at all. It's worth the money. I'll take some photos of it and send out soon. Hope it helps.

May i know how much is ur box52Litre? any picture to see? easy fit 2 helmet? is it as big as 52L maxia box?

Rack and base how much too?

Hi bro, its placed inside the right hand compartment.I told the mechanic to give about 0.5m extra length of wire so that i can take out the IU easily. Reason being at certain HDB gantry car parks, the gantries arent able to read the IU inside the compartment, so I had to take it out and wave it in front of the IU reader. A bit silly I think but boh pian cos if not I will have cars queuing behind me, which is a bit stressful lah. Other than that, the IU placed in the compartment will DEFINITELY be detectable by ERP gantries (sucks man) and most shopping centre carparks.Good thing about the compartment is lockable, so you can leave your cashcard inside at all times.

Don't think there is anywhere on the handlebar to fix a customised IU bracket fyi.

hey Janch, nice ride man!!may i know where u place yr iu unit on yr Tmax 530??i juz curios ;)

The belt as the final transmission doesn't give me good impression. Seems like will have to chain belt pretty often

Well, older version uses gear oil and the amount of times u do regular change its about ≈ same as the cost of one belt.

Hi lighters, the belt(final transmission) should never be lubricated. Instead it should be left as it is. As for the belt inside the CVT, belt dressing spray is ok. For my previous 08 model, I had lots of noise issue with that belt and had to spray many times over a period of few months before the noise went away.

Hi bro, the seat compartment can only fit one full face helmet, along with other smaller items.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Can the storage under the seat store 2 helmets?

Janch,

Thks for all the nice pics n sharing. Very helpful n u must hv put in lots of effort.

Am impressed wth H n B rack; it even built in back rest. It'll b perfect if it padded for pillion comfort.

Personally I m ok wth final belt drive. It haul my Harley well all tis while.

Cut some weigh n do away oil change like LenLow bro mention.

Saw it in HL n seriously thinking of getting one.

Just wonder can d left comprt can house d new slim iu?

Thks all Tmax bro n user for keeping tis thread lively n informative.

Happy n safe riding....☺☺
