To janch,

i really impress by ur hard effort to take so many angle of box to show us. u really let me noe where is the lock to the base plate , how big the box is? and 1 thing for sure ur baseplate is definitely better than Givi maxia 's base. Big and solid, i now very tempted to buy Hecpo becker rack and box le.

Janch, where u stay, can i go ur place to have a real look? i stay tampines.

Well, older version uses gear oil and the amount of times u do regular change its about ≈ same as the cost of one belt.

The gear oil is change every 10,000km for $20.

Did the specs say Hw often we need to change the final belt?

I did some search on YouTube for the 530. And I haf to say I really really like it. Did a rough search on the review from overseas. Generally not much difference. But seems like it has jus a slightly faster pick up & then also just a slight higher top speed.

But all bros riding the new max, so far anybody encounter fuel pump problem like the 2011 models?

Hi bro,

Glad to offer knowledge.

Anyways its not a backrest, its merely a matt finish plastic cover. Not spongy to consider it as backrest, but still can lean on it no problem! I think H&B don't have backrest accessory for Journey TC 52.

The left side compartment can only put a handphone and cards. IU can't be placed there. Oh , and its not lockable.

Janch,

Thks for all the nice pics n sharing. Very helpful n u must hv put in lots of effort.

Am impressed wth H n B rack; it even built in back rest. It'll b perfect if it padded for pillion comfort.

Personally I m ok wth final belt drive. It haul my Harley well all tis while.

Cut some weigh n do away oil change like LenLow bro mention.

Saw it in HL n seriously thinking of getting one.

Just wonder can d left comprt can house d new slim iu?

Thks all Tmax bro n user for keeping tis thread lively n informative.

Happy n safe riding....☺☺

I was told that the belt only needs to be changed after every 100,000 km. Probably a few tightening here and there.

HI brothers,

Just want to ask if anyone of you experienced the problem of not able to turn the bike key to ON position after riding the t max for a few years ? (I circumvent this by holding down the key and then finding the sweet spot before turning on). I was told to prevent this from the start, don't hang a bunch of keys together with your main bike key, as this will inevitably add weight and after prolong use,you will experience the problem which I just mentioned. What I do now for the 530 is to use a carebina, so I can separate the bike key when I start the bike.

Cheers!

If that's is true abt the belt tt need to change after 100oookm tt will b fantastic. But I can't seems to find any information on that. A DID xring can last abt 50oookm max. So dun thing the belt can tahan tt long.

Bro u know hw much it cost for replacing the final belt?

Hi bro, could you explain by what you mean by fuel pump problem ?

As i was riding a o8max last year, I meet a few forum guys here, they were mentioning that they can't start the bike after they park. Power on but no efi sound. Some rode halfway then the engine jus ceased. Partially affecting the 2011 models. My 08max has none of this problem. But thOSS new owners half to go bk to HL to replace the blue code fuel pump to the brown code fuel pump.

So this is roughly the fuel pump I m referring to =)

If you're talking about wear & tear parts, i doubt it would be THAT hard to get. Maintenance are quite standard. im sure that the joy and comfort Tmax provides, it definitely worth the price :thumb:

Accessories..maybe? cos some aint produce locally. Overseas online sites (i only know of euroscooters for the BKR headlights) can be trustworthy as price are fixed so there isnt any chance to be chopped

Well, my reason of letting go is im getting married soon. Small wife have to go for big wife! REALLY cant bear to but...still up for sale!!

Actually the stock tire is one of e best u can get for our bike. But price is also the highest and normal not stock. Other option is pirelli or metzeler. Pirelli is gd for dry but some brother complain no grip for wet.

I'm using metzeler now. Not as gd as stock but still reasonable. Price I can't remember, should be around 350 to 400

thanks for the reply ray .
