On expressway (free flow), what is your Tmax 530 (or 500) cruising speed? For me, I tend to keep around 4k - 4.2k rpm, cos I personally feel that it's the optimum. Been doing that for some time, but asking now cos yesterday there's a white Tmax zoom past me while I'm cruising. My speed that time should be around 80-85km/h.

To bros Tmax, could some of you please advise me the fc, and is there's any servicing shops in Jb that can service and repair work, as I am interested in getting tmax. And how offen do I need to ch the belt, and how much to ch?

May I know why you intend to do your repairs and servicing in JB? About FC and stuff please read back a few pages. I did post some info there.

For Tmax, Most will go to A.C Motor. Look for Ah Chong. Shop owner rides a Tmax as well. So far using Prerelli diablo tires. so far so good.

 

Who sells These Tyres? I need to replace mine soon.

fuel pump is working, just that it sits slightly higher than the bottom of the tank.. design failure..

I would say its very expensive for a scooter lets not say the BMW. the price of a new tmax 530 can get u a few proper class 2 machines like FZ1.

and new scooter have high depreciation for first 2 years means u gotta ride for quite sometime. I maybe wrong on this.

but I must thank the arrival of the new tmax 530 which enabled me to buy 1 of the last few new 2011 tmax 500 for abt 18.k+ OTR.

even though I tmax was not the initial scooter I wanted to buy.

The reason why i wanted to buy a new bike is because i prefer to get a problem free bike which 1st hand i will have little worries.

Anyone rode a sportbike and downgrade to this scooter?

Need so feedback as i worried i will not be used to it.

Currently riding a gsxr 750.

eh.. i rode a hayabusa and downgraded to tmax...

T max is still my choice rather than bmw which i have test ridden.

For the smoothness and power....

 

getting used to the scooter was a bliss... nothing much to take note of except of the clutch and brake conversion.. hahaha.

also a FZ1 convert to tmax..

 

the only thing that you will choose to not like, is perhaps the small underseat compartment compared to other scooters..

 

just twist and go, comfort, pickup, everything..

Condition of rack is 8/10 (some minor scratches)

Condition of top box is 7/10.

Letting go at $200 for both box, rack n base plate.

Cos i working in tuas and need to travel quite a long distance.

Traffic from tuas back via pie is very bad if cannot squeeze will be very torturing.

 

squeezing thru traffic depends on the rider's skills. so far I see no problem for most of us

I'm also looking around for one too. Used or new is ok for me. Went down to Looi's - Mr Lee taking in orders. And the white ones are apparently more popular
