today a Toyota wish stop beside me ask me my scooter how many cc....I replied 500...his shock face? PRICELESS....

he must be one of the many motorists who thinks scooter mostly 125-250cc...but when the light turns green....

my tmax 5 days nvr start park in mscp...

yesterday wanto start no crank sound press many times then crank...

crank liao idle awhile die again....then crank afew more times same...no autochoke...rev also die...

once temp needle start to climb just rode off...die off twice...cannot afford to kill engine til reach destination.

kill liao start from square 1 again... today rode to bikeshop mech diagnosed...sidestand sensor problem...I thought fuel pump but when on ignition got the fuel pump sound...

called hongleong tell me bring bike down leave there afew days for them to detect the problem...

then I found put warranty is 1 year or 6000km whichever came first...damn mine 6months plus old and 6500miles...

forget it waste my time go there..consider warranty over..

sidestand sensor so fast spoil?

A colleague of mine is also having this problem. He's riding an '09 model. The other time ah Choong said it was due to the lean sensor.. But now the problem came back..

Seriously, the local Yamaha agent is also screwing us over just like the Green brand. In other countries, it is all 2 years unlimited mileage warranty.

Hi I just purchased new tmax last week. If u scroll last few pages got mention ac motors at kaki bukit area got tmax specialist. I also wanna accessorize my tmax once finish run in.. can't wait....

anyone changed belt and transmission stuffs recently?

wats the current damage for 12000 mile transmission belt package?

for tmax 500...

A friend of mine just changed at taihin. $355 with stock rollers, add $25 for dr pulley rollers. The variator nut can be one hell of a tough nut to remove though. Haha

Guys, read some of you here recommending AC Motor for TMax servicing. Can anyone tell me how much they charge for normal servicing? Recently did mine at HL, they charge me almost $147 just for oil change + gasket. And does AC Motor use Yamaha oil filter or others?

Its depends on what EO u want to use. AC has got malossi filters and Yamaha filters.
