Asking of behalf on a friend, how to increase tmax acceleration further? Change the vario dunno what?

I changed to jcosta variator. Use 18g. Increase of acceleration. Before change need 9s to reach 100km/h. Now need 6s. Also I changed to active fast throttle. Closed fully by less 20 percent.

1. V Belt

2. 8 Rollers/Sliders

3. 3 X Air filters

4. 1 X Oil filter

5. 3 Litres Engine oil(semi)

6. 2 X Spark plugs

7. Labour charge

 

All Yamaha spares less engine oil

for me i did it at A C motors like many of us who go there for all servicing...all your above mention should cost you ard $500

Do any of you experienced difficulties in squeezing morning traffic? Most of the time I need to fold up my mirrors.

pardon me for being crude, but folding up your mirrors is as good as being an idiot.

 

you can't see traffic behind you, and could be possibly be holding up other bikes behind.

 

if can't squeeze, just move over to the whole lane.

 

and tmax is 1 of the easiest to L/S. no need to worry about gears at all.

why don't consider to change the mirror position to handle bar which I did previously on my Tmax.

i also quite easy...only a few times cant squeeze thru then i just wait lor no choice..

No problems splitting as well. Used to ride fz6 with side box. so Tmax easier to lane split, in comparison.

Anyone has a rear hugger fixed on your Tmax 530? Saw the Hyper modified fenders but it is too expensive. But the rear fender will do good as to prevent all the splashing especially after raining. Worst still if you have just washed your bike the day before. I also understand from armourite which brings in carbon fibre parts for tmax 530 and they have a rear hugger as well. But doubt it is the kind I am looking for. Something like what gilera bikes have or the hyper modified version is rather good.

I actually thought of doing that type of splash guard too. But can't find a gilera owner to let me test theirs on mine. Haha

Anybody who got lobang or has managed to get a splashguard or rear hugger for tmax 530, please do share. It would treat if gilera's could fit into ours.

Hi Nate,

 

A colleague of mine let me try out a splash guard from his ST200. Unfortunately as the ST200 wheels are much smaller than the Tmax, it wouldn't fit. However I think a unit from a nexus 500 might fit with some customization.

Sorry to bother again. Can the fine scratches be removed on our wind screen? Got sprayed water by a inconsiderate driver and when I reached my school I wipe off got stains amd scratches (think caused by my cloth that has fine particles trapped in it.)
