Thanks EJ but I do not know of anybody riding a nexus 500. But if I am at bike shop and there's a Nexus 500 bike or rider, I will probably give it a try.

Use a damp/wet good microfiber cloth to wipe. Experienced it also. Quite frustrating but it wasn't that bad. As time goes by, will get scratched and nicks on the windscreen. Bo bian...buy a new 1 to replaced when it gets pretty bad. Or can try do the no scratch coating.

Now kena scratched liao very sad. Quite interested in the no scratch coating. What is it about? And is it normal for new bikes to have weird feeling when using the front brake? Kinda feels like the lever will jump and the "xing xing xing" sound is still there even though run in complete liao. When using front brake I can feel the front fork move like that. Is it normal or I can claim from hong leong?

Its common. Go to jalan besar and I think the shop name is 319 or something. Its actually a sticker or thin film which is wrapped around your item you want to prevent scratching. Heard good comments about it. For the sound it's normal and will be gone in matter of time. Take awhile as it is a new bike. Probably the brake pads. Your mechanic will tell you if there is something wrong with your bike. Maybe you can ask them to help you check if you are uncertain.

Is it (the protective coating) same as Race Shield?

wind screen will bound to get scratches it is part of wear and tear. Good news are there are after market replacement

anyway, i miss wildcard.

Bro I believe is end of june the akra will arrive. Ytd my bike shop told me they will consolidate and ship it together.

Anyone can recommend a gps for Tmax530 including mounting? I was thinking of getting a garmin zumo 660 but very pricey. Mounting can be found in ram mount website but never use it before and not sure which model is for the Tmax530. I have no idea about gps except the one I used in my Iphone. Planning to use it to go Malaysia and other countries. Appreciate your guys opinions and recommendations.

Initially when I first bought my tmax500 2 yrs ago, I had the same feel as you. Front fork seems to move and jerk and cannot stop on time. I think get use to it can le , is nothing big major problem cos it only happens once in a blue moon.

My advice to you: Live with it brother .

Same feeling on the front brake. After changing to sintered brake pads, the stopping become better. Another option is stainless steel Brake hose. I haven't done this yet

I juz got e info from Hong Leong today. $22500 otr w/o insurance (non-abs).

$23500 otr w/o insurance (abs).

Guys, need advice. I'm about to buy from forumer. A 2013 Tmax. But it's a non-abs. Any disadvantage? Or should i just get e 2014 model w abs?
