this is a sensitive qns..some may like 1 shop whilst others do not or have prejudice towards it..

 

i believe most 4b5 owners still go back to agent..

For me i go to the same 1 as bigcow..ask him to shed some light n advice you..btw,if ur the 1 who got my ride,tranmission oil i just changed.

hi,since the previous owner used to go tat particular shop for the same mechanic, i suggust you should visit back again,tat's how i treat my FJR B4,but recently got my Tmax and done two service at Hong Leong,wasn't very happy abt it,so i might consider to change other bike shop to service..got to void the warrenty if i done tat,but i feel worth it cos HL sucks.....:angel:

ya,Big cow is really a nice guy,i've ordered a GP Pro from him earlier,we had a talk for half an hour,resulted him getting caught in a rain while going back to work,really pai say abt it..

mine 1st service done,the desk girl a bit Blur Blur,2nd booking took a mth from your booking day,when i reach there abt 12:50pm,they were on lunch break,all mech taking a nap,desk girl SMS-ing,dun even bother to serve me,so i get to take a walk at their servicing area,then the moment lunch break is over,the Desk-girl came screaming at me saying I'm not allow to enter the premises..:sian:very pissed off cos i can just pass the keys to her and off for my lunch..while they doing my bike service,i wanted to go near my bike and asked how to take off my front cover to shorten the windshield,another idiot(should be the Service advisor) ask me to back off,and stand behind the yellow line,told me to imagine a invisible wall,and not to enter..i wonder their service bay got Gold or worst,opium???So,having a poor Recep,idiot advisors plus SLOWWWWWW waiting time for my bike service date,i seriously consider to change other workshop to service while i can monitor the process..

Since day 1 ... I have not sent my T Max to HL. Sent my previous FJR to them for 1st servicing but didn't like their attitude. Too many restriction. Even my past wings, I sent to MT for servicing. Dun believe in the agent also. Their standard of servicing is CRAP!!! My T Max is also under MT-s management currently.

t max is a very relax n powerful bike... haha.. but as for temp. oso quite hot. i 1st day take bike the fan ale on more than 5 times.. is it normal? the temp always stays at half where the temp logo is, nomatter day or night riding oso same...do u guys max same like mine too?

The needle also at half for mine. The themostat will only kick in when stuck in traffic or when traffic is slow moving. No reason to be worried .... better for the fan to be on to cool the engine then not working.

ask bro big cow.. he oso intro me to tat workshop, just back from there less than 1hr..lol...btw thks big cow... 2010 t max, any diffirence? if not remember wrong i saw a paintwork gt desgin.. very nice..but the signals they change to the protrude out wan like sports bike wan right..

the lollipop signal lights is only available for usa market, they have this law that require their signal lights to be protruding, most of them convert their signal lights to the flush type after they got their bike..at a cost.

for us, we are not affected by this law,..we follow europe spec which accept flush mount signal lights

I just placed an order for an Ermax rear hugger today and i'm sourcing for a rear LED set to replace the current one. Ermax makes it but i think it is a a little too pricey. Hope you guys can shed some light.

 

Also, please count me in if you guys have any meetups. Would like to learn a thing or two about our maxes from the more experienced riders.

ermax hugger...interesting..where u bought it? can share.. mayb oso will get 1, max without hugger really very easy to dirty the under seat if ride on wet weather...i just kana...sian...

You are right Mike, I used to ride a silverwing and the underseat is always a mess to clean and maintain which is why i die die have to get a rear hugger for my max.

Hi guys, just noticed this perculiar sound of tong tong tong coming from maybe the drive shaft as the max slows down to a stop. Frankly, I am just guessing that the sound is coming from the drive. Could it be a worn out bearing ?
