Hello Papadum, yes we frequent the joint Fei Siong weekly. Usually after 8pm. Been there regularly for the past 2 years. In fact we are 2 black one matt blue Tmaxers If you see our bikes there, just approach our bikes, sit on the BLUE one and feel free to jump on it for watever reason to get our attention! Remember the BLUE one. No box one.

 

Nice to see you guys in this thread finally. Well, i'll be sure to hop on the blue max and test its suspension as requested. The one without the box right?

 

By any chance were you guys with Daniel (speeding botak) from HD? I think i saw him there but i don't think he saw me. Saw a tricker there and first thing that came to my was that it must be his. I knew him back then when i rode scrams. I'm looking for a tricker as a second practice/fun bike. If anyone is letting go, do let me know.

Hey maxxmadness, i'm thinking about getting a slightly shorter black windscreen for my max and i think you are using one right? Are you using the one from Ermax or Yamaha? I've seen the Givi sport screen upfront but it's too short for my liking. Any recomendations?

i am using the OEM sport screen from yamaha..It about 6 inch shorter than the original screen and i suit me fine...if i remember correctly, it cost around $150++ thru HL

Before yesterday i went to Tuas 2 link to top up my Petrol for my 2009 Tmax,when reaching 1st(sin) custom,the mil is160++miles,so i want to try my max to dry to see how much miles to consume..so when i ride all the way and makes a U-turn at Famous Gelang Patah runway,the bike is still smooth,but when i was abt to reach the exit the engine "die" off:cry:,so i let it roll all the way to Shell Station,lucky i just push a bit up slope to the Shell station....conclusion is the mil is 175.5 Miles,and i top up 15.69l of V-power..

 

So guys,never exceed 175.5 MILES,cos the bike will not give warning like my previous FJR(jerking when you slightly bend the bike while ridding)..

maybe my right wrist got problem controlling cos my average speed is 80miles/hr:cheeky::cheeky:i seldom cruise at 80km/hr cos i had enough on the run-in period...and having those super-4s,400 sports bike looking me at surprise tat a "scooter" can overtakes them makes me feel GREAT:cool:

should have ask on the HL Windscreen cos a bit regret on my GIVI short screen..and the price is $230,a bit high side...

i just did 160 miles and reserve came on, top-up 12.62 litres..let see that should work out to about 21.2 km/litres...48mpg.. not too bad from yamaha claim of tmax able to do 49 mpg...

tat ia nearly 130km/h... nowonder so fast dry... i seldom ride tat fast. most of the time is abt 60miles/hr...

guys,wanna ask if any one here using leovince exhuast system??Cos earlier ordered the GP PRO series but the inspection fail ont he documentation..So i'm got either the aluminium or the titanium to choose...i just want a loud noisy one,any idea???

of the 4 e-approved leo vince exhaust, only the GP PRO is not approved for use in Singapore.

the 3 remaining approved for use in Singapore are the Ovale Aluminium shorty full system, Factory full system Titanium & the 4 Road full system

Hi Michael, were you by any chance at Tampines last week or so? I saw a black Tmax with leo vince carbon exhaust and givi sport screen parked at the block just opposite Tampines Mall.

Hi Michael, I'm planning to get the same full system. So far, only 3 brands appeal to me and they are the Akrapovic, Leo Vince and Remus.

 

I'm not sure if the Akrapovic full system for T-max is available in sg but i know for a fact that it costs alot. It is also the best looking "street legal" exhaust available besides Yoshimura's R77 which is however not legal. I also like the look of the Remus Hexacone carbon, except that when mounted, the gap between the exhaust and the rear right panel is simply too wide and does not appear to be parallel with the rear panel. As for the Leo Vince shorty, i got to see up close and personal when you parked your bike at my block the last time you were here and hence made my decision. Thanks.
