You missed out one! Actually, there is another L so it should be J squared, K and L.

Hi guys,

Just wanna update my current bike status,previously couldn't starts the bike @ suntec,suspected the spark plug problem..So during collection,everything went smoothly until i go suntec AGAIN,the bike couldn't start again,got to tow the bike back for rectifying the problem..:cry::cry:

Conclusion from choong is maybe my fuel system something wrong,got to send the bike back HL to rectify the problem..Cos batt is working fine,plug oso just change to 24* instead of 27*(for long distance riding)..

And oso heard previous owners oso encountering such problems,and has done up by HL..Gonna try my luck down to HL the puzzle on the start up problem...will keep u guys update again:cheeky::cheeky:

My bike have a conclusion on the problem liao..

the Fuel system problem,and i'm sure a few out there have face it oso,just didn't post on net..Damages is ard $320,excluded GST..the labour is $150,but they gonna waive off cos my is only 7 mths old,but mileage is 7k++..

Very un-justify feelings cos the bike is my spare bike,i seldom rides it.always drive to work...1 mth maybe ride 4-6 times,only from jurong to queenways for instalment payment..KNN,guys should look out for problems if the bike is still under warrenty,cos HL is EXPERT in TAIJI...Always push problems out if the warrenty ends..:cry::cry::cry:

Fixed my EO leaking prob. Guys, pls take of e EO drain nut below. E stock yamaha washer cmi. Will get flatten after a few times removing.

 

Advisable to change to alu one..

is it a recall problem for all models of maxxers with the fuel pump problem? hai...

 

maybe the logic is must ride the tmax everyday, so the pump won't be clogged.. hahahha

yeah. fortunately. sw9000 bought a bunch of alu washer from Honda and brought/give to ah choong.

 

anyway, when are u guys meeting up again?

Hi helmetbox! Any idea where to get aftermarket performance brake disc in Singapore for Tmax? Thanks for advise!

 

Braking, motomaster and Galfer offers aftermarket rotors and they can be found locally. However, the they do not come cheap and considering the fact that we have 2 rotors up front, we need to fork out extra dough for that additional rotor. An alternative would be to get the brandless type from Ebay. Not sure about the quality though but quite a lot of ppl have bought them and are happy with it. Link below if you are interested.

r1 radial mount 6pot does the trick... not exactly the rotors but actually the difference lies with the caliper..

 

changing of brake system also adds to the load to the suspensions, so my suggestion is to ride it stock... that applies for tmax lah, not some monsterous speeding machines..

 

2 cents though...

No point Tmax wasnt too front bias to start with. the loading of front with such strong brakes might be too much for our budget sus and chassis...
