Want to enquire something about naked handlebars...since my whole coverset from my handlebar to speedometer cracked due to a crash.

 

1.) How's the handling? Better?

2.) Wind resistant more? Colder at night? (sorry, i very timid at night.)

3.) Wirings? Any problems?

4.) And the total cost plus labour...

5.) What's the most reliable brand available so far for naked bars?

Naked HandleBar:

1) Handling.. as fer me no difference... a bit lighter

2) Colder at night...

3) Wiring... Im dumb at at wiring.. So far i install got no problem...

4) I fixed it at TaiHin.. $100 for wiring and labour charge..

5) The handle bars have to check at bicycle shops... Not sure of the brands... Important is the clamp...

Polini Speed control.. Good to have it install in ur bike..

Power... u can go to Future Scootering.. they deal with Polinin Stuffs...

It had been very long time since our last outing, been thinking how's everyone been going on. Missing all the old timers and not forgetting all the new members or the new face we had not met before, let's get together again, to share, to chat, to laugh and to catch up with one another. Hopefully with everyone's passion, we could have more of these gathering like what we use to do.

 

First meet up of 2009 >

 

1. To have more meetup like the old time, Let's make this one a good and successful outing

 

2. Let's share ours knowledge on our previous scooter we had learn to someone who may need it

 

3. To See and to Feel the various scooters that we have in Singapore.

 

4. And ofcourse to make more new friends around us

 

Date: 21-03-2009

Time: 7pm to 10pm

Location: East Coast Burger King

 

How about say a group ride up to changi village for nasi lemak supper

Really don't know leh...because my whole bubble cover and my speedometer crack i no mood liao...thinking of trying something new la....Maybe it'll look nice..i asked around and some guy told me doppler handlebars are not bad. Once my offset package comes in next month i will change.

Guys, do you encounter like scratching sound when you push your bike or moving at a slow speed? The sound is from my rear disc brake. I'm not sure what's causing it though. Any ideas?

cud be that there are dirt there..get it clean and oiled shud be ok though

doppler is good.. why dont u ask Yan. He probbably will be able to give u a good advice on that.

hey guys currently my runner has a weird clanging sound (intermittent) coming out from the either exhaust or engine, whenever i try to accelerate during pickup.. is there any thing i should be worried about or take note? :(
