My bike has this "tak tak tak" sound when i start the bike, The sound will be softer as the engine runs longer...anyone knows wad happened? Only noticed the sound recently and its damn irritating...and it dont sound right.

 

Bro, what i can say is all 4 stroke engine will produce a tick tick or tak tak sound when it's warming up and once it hits it's normal riding temperature. it will be softer. Same goes for my old 600, 750 and even the current runner.

Any idea how much it cost to replace the coil?

Have anyone encounter similar problem?

 

The coil alone is around $130 like that..But you need to reflush your coolant once u replace the coil..

hi, bros.. had a minor fall on my gilera.. after i fall i pick up my bike and e-start it.. then i saw white smoke coming out from the xhaust.. is it possible the fall cud cause the coolant pump or gasket to be damage and cause it to be mix with engine oil? or the piston worn? pls help me.. thks anyone??

White smoke is usually associated with worn out piston ring which allows EO to seep into the combustion chamber which in turns produces white smoke from your exhaust..Happens to my bike recently but i nv drop it..Had it replace and working smoothly now..

Hi Bros!!! I need to project my runner... I'm actually riding a VXR... Pipe I'm using is GPR Poppy Street Fight... The short one... Thought of changing to SBK... But performance wise, I HEARD that GPR performs better... I HEARD ah... Please enlighten me... I actually wanted to sell the GPR to get a new SBK... I need a review of the Dr Pulley Hit Clutch... Anyone here using them??? And also the Malossi Multivar200... Thats what I got in my to change... Help me please... Thanks!!!

My Runner 180 cant start :

 

Shop boss says (KENG HOCK Motor- 594 Geylang Rd Lor 33)

- most prob change "motherboard" & magnatic coil

- not sparkplug prob

 

Any1 advice hw is "cant start" prob related to - motherboard & magnatic coil?

Also price to replace:

- "dian ban" (motherboard?)

- magnatic coil (some1 quote $130?)

Batt not able to Charge back - Coil, ,

Motherboard i think CDI - A CDI or Capacitor Discharge Ignition box is a small electrical device which consists of a small transformer, a charging circuit, a main capacitor, and triggering circuit. This one need to use another CDI to check easiest way.

 

On another note pls Check your batt might need to replace new one, old one might be dead since can't start,

Check you fuse also as spoiled fuse might lead to bike not able to start too..
