Duplicating HD DVD problem

I have a set of 3 HD DVD containing 40 episodes of a mandarin drama serial. It played perfectly on my dvd player but I simply cannot read the files inside on my PC's DVDrom, nor can I copy it with my double layer DVD writer.

The window explorer just show zero files inside. Other normal DVD movies, I can copy easily but not this HD DVDs.

 

I also tried to convert them into mp4 but the software cannot detect the files.

Any tips from any one will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I doubt DVD drives can read High-Definition DVDs unless someone invented DVD drives that can do so.
