wat's ur view on X-1R with a racing CDI without aftermarket exhaust and carb? Will I still get the best of the CDI?

Hi ppl, have you experienced X1R having slight wobble dou handle bar kept straight?

 

Not the same type as sway by wind/ big truck go past type...

 

Its like going straight then for no reason the whole bike's weight shifted left then right again, all in a second. Kindly share experience, thx!

 

Frens advised to check tire pressure/ alignment?

hey bro, unique motorsports is a good place. they're selling the gpr pipe titanium full system for 650 compared to wing yap's 7++. just went there last week to change to racing footrest, and new tyres, brake pads, brake line and put some bling2 LED strips. Good place to service ur bike!

i tink its more for cosmetic purposes..nice flowery oversized brake disc..correct me if im wrong..

nwae for the caliper u dont have to change it..juz need an extra bracket to fix to the caliper to fit the bigger brake disc.

erm u talking about the dual pot or 4 pot caliper? dat im not too sure. just know that 4 pot caliper will maximise ur braking power better than a dual pot. but for mopeds like ours dual pot should be enough. maybe some other bros can share..

the yamaha racing footrest is 235 with installation. only silver colour. the hel brake line is 130. now unique motorsports having the brake line promotion u have to pm them i tink or add ur name in the promotion thread to get that price for the brake line.

for the footrest maybe u wanna get the WYR brand from wing yap for 180. got alot of colours.

already experienced it the moment i bought my bike. do you have a box? heard it from someone if u fixed a box to ur x1r, u will surely experience that feeling.. my bike does have a 33L box btw..

 

have been experiencing this for the last 10mths, but it didn't bother me since i usually ride with both hands. changed bearing, downed fork, tyre pressure checked every week etc. but still have the same experience. i still believe it's because of the box thingy, cause it upsets the geometry of the bike.

for my experience was...

 

Yamaha- Pillion footrest got latch, if you close it wont drop down unless you pull it down, gear for better to kick.

 

WYR- Pillion footrest no latch, always down thou you put it up, gear always hard to kick to neutral. it might be good for those people who always pillion people, but i only pillion 1 person when she and the BF quarrell/both black face.

 

i'm using WYR footrest, i still prefer the Yamaha one i used to use.

Bigger disc larger revolution not so hot....4 pot is 4 piston 6 pot 6 piston....single pot 1 piston= 1 pad...2 piston 2 pad, 3 piston 3 pad, 4 piston 4 pad.....but no 3 pot lar

Also ah, does it matter if the front tire like cannot turn when on main stand and leaned backwards - like brake too "makan".

 

I see my fren's spark front wheel easily turn a few rounds on push, but mine cant even turn half a round?!

its true to some extend. i find tat it does have this kind of feeling of wobbling could be becoz our head is not protected by fairing like sports bike where the fork of their bike is protected to stop the wind from blowing to the fork therefore causes steering to wobble. juz my 2cent. correct mi if im wrong
