hi all!

im getting my x1r this coming friday. Its a first hand bike, so how long did you guys run in to season the engine ?

 

1st time run in 400km at 80-90km/h. change EO after this run in.

2nd time run in to 700km at 80-100km/h. change EO after this run in.

3rd time run in to 1000km at 80-100km/h. change EO after this run in and u can full throttle after tat le. this is wad i've done for my bike.

 

but on the 3rd time i did full throttle afew times within the week..

 

Front Brake pad maybe can try using Daytona de... S$28.00 at kallang avenue name Future Scootering, theres a guy whom do kups, my bike is serviced n doned up by him.

just realised my left headlight bulb is fused..anyone knows how much is the bulb and where to get it? im also intending to change the pole light to red colour ones..does wingyap sell those items? planning to go there to check out the shop

 

they does sell but its not bright for the pole light. if u bought it and use it u will feel its waste of money. i bought my red n white at sim lim tower.

I bought this bike frm looi's, not sure of the type of EO they use on my baby. Yesterday I tried bike werk, they use maxima (*red label) plus oil filter = $29

*EO 0.8 litres required for X-1R

lol i understand, i jus wan some "way" to fix it which doesn't require some special tools...

regular adhesive surely don't work as the cover "stretch" surely untidy.

 

Stapler cannot meh? Mine,.. I cut thinner (modify) myself. All that i use are stapler, grinder,marker pen,hack saw blade.

hmmm... at loois usually i spend less than 25 for EO n filter change... but I'm not sure the type of EO they use.

Perhaps other fellow ryders can share their experience on these basic servicing?

it seems like u got urself a fork brace, wat it does n how it helps in ur riding?

May i ask wat tyre size u using now?

Hack saw blade is for trimming away the part that you don't want. And after that grind away the rough edges. Make it smooth before put back the cover.

why not u remove the entire bulb and show it to the shop owner?

headlight bulb i don't think SLT have it, its HS4 i think.

polelight is using T10, go to 3rd floor cheaper, don't go basement, they are sharpening their knife buy those 1 watt brighter.

brother... what you mean by good battlax tyres? made in japan de ah? go ah boy ask lo.... they sell cheaper. but you have to go motor shop to do it... if you buy at ah boy, must check the tyre before buying, cause he also got made in thailand battlax tyre

actually why you decide to use 80/90 and 90/90 at first? Apart frm the better cornering which u mention earlier.
