Will racing footrest affect your rear brake efficiency?

From wat I gathered from X1r rider...they infrmd no drop in performance as X1r rear brake is disc brake...anyways from my point even if it causes drop in performance it wont have great effect as more pressure Shud come from front brake..especially Wen hit bend at high speed...more pressure on rear can cause skid..

Anyway, my FC dropped to 34.5km/l due to my aggressive riding!

I admit I cant stay an angel on this lovely cub.

Does anyone think I should retune my carb?

so i assume there will be a drop of performance only if the rear brake is drum brake..? :)

I was getting such FC before...

U should try one wash carb+change oil filter+change spark plug+carb tuning for petrol saving on ur next service if u haven't since ur at 8000km.

No promise but it may help. I am not getting about 40+km/l with hard throttling...

I actually intended to get my carb washed and tuned, but after listening so many stories about bad tuning, decided that if it ain't broken, don't fix it.

Decide to just do an oil change with a higher quality engine oil...

In that case u should go back to the mech to tune again...

After my carb washed and tuned... I rode till refuel.

On that full tank I checked my FC was not good and I went back to the bikeshop and they did the tuning at no extra cost.

This time was good...

Sooner or later u have to get ur carb washed...

After it's washed it's recommended to tune.

Bad tuning is only if the mech didn't do it properly...

Anyway for most 2b bikes much easier for mechs to tune whereas those 2a and 2 mechs have to tune to sync... That will be problematic if the mech is not au fait...

On the x1-r if not tuned properly most likely bad FC. No real harm done...

Proper tuning gives u a good FC... So y not? Saves petrol = saves money

Pls correct me if I'm wrong.
