Carry on riding, let the batt charge. If you want faster, bring the batt to shop and let shop charge it. The batt too weak already, which is probably because the rectifier failed to charge it properly. Relax first, try one by one.

 

Ouh. How long must i ride bro? Can i just let the bike idiling? So u mean its not magnectic coil prob? Its the battery which is either weak or gona spoil? Because whenever i rev the engine the voltmeter number goes up.. If it is magnetic coil prob means it wont charge rite bro? As in the voltmeter number wont goes up rite?

Leaving it idling won't help much. The bike has to move. Ride around 20-30 minutes and see if the voltage improves.

hi guys... im looking for the following stuffs, if anyone wanna let go or knows where i can get it for a good/cheap price. I prefer used stuff as it is meant for inspection purpose only.

 

1) standard footrest

2) original rear mudguard

3) original rear tail light / wif signal lights.

bro try ride around 20min it should be fine, but if still continue the same thing than should be the magnetic coil already.

Bros, I tried riding around 20 mins like wat u guys said. When i am riding the voltmeter shows 13.5V-13.9V. When i am coming to a stop at the traffic light it will either go down to 1V-1.5V or voltmeter will flicker and turn off. The meter light and the gear indicater light will be dim. So i usually rev abit at the traffic light. Just now when i stop at the traffic light, The bike suddenly turn off. I quickly start back. Damm! Isn't the battery guys? Maybe the battery too weak already? Shall i get a new battery? Because if its magnectic coil prob it wont even charge wat rite? I mean it wont even go up to 13.9 wat. Wat u guys think?

this very very tricky man! if the battery weak, i guess it wont suddenly turn off the engine. bro isit the carb?? coz u said ur engine suddenly turn off le maybe the mixture air and fuel not correct resulting in that. i not very sure can someone help him?

I dont think is the carb bro. My bike fully stock bro. Its the first time that my bike turn off.

no silcener is consider illegal, msia selling them RM700 ++ .

but might as well get those illegal exhaust which have better performance and much cheaper, kena caught by LTA also same amount of fine

 

Hi. If i'm not wrong there a yoshi model that is street legal without silencer. Because originally it has no silencer already. Forgot whether is it round cone model or the tri oval model.

 

I'm looking for the particular model.

 

But anyway a normal yoshi with silencer compare with GPR, yoshi is already louder right?

Does anywan know how much is X1R battery and which brand and shop to go get it from? I am looking for cheap, good and long lasting battery.

 

As long as you want it to be cheap, only two choices. Lim Ah Boy or JB. Cheap does not mean its good & good doesn't come cheap. Change new batt and it should settle your problem. I doubt it is the magnetic coil.

Alrite bro.. i went to one of the shop they quote me $45 for the battery(Made in singapore). If i buy from LIM AH BOY. I duno how to fix. Haha. Heard must put some kind of water inside the battery and charge than only can fix.. Btw bro which battery brand u recommend?

You can get a new battery at JB for RM40 to RM70 depending on the brand. There are 3 types. Wet cell (need to check regularly & top up batt water), dry cell (maintenance free) & gel based battery (maintenance free). Take your pick.

For $50 I can get a Yuasa batt for Super 4 in JB. Aiyah just get any batt you want. At the end of the day it is your bike, your money, your choice. If the voltage still continue to drop when you ride, then confirm magnetic coil already.

Ok bros, I just changed to a new battery. Brand is shinko. $45. Everything is back to normal. All is working fine. The mech say magnetic coil no problem because he Rev all ok. So when idiling my voltmeter shows 12.5-13V. When riding it shows 14.5 -14.9V. So it was the battery after all. Wasted money buy rectifier. Haha! Well Thanks alot for your advice and help bros! :)
