Guys, Im having this dilemma with CDI. Ive recently changed my pipe and went to jb for servicing. The mechanic there told me to change the CDI for the best effect from the pipe but my friend told me that there will be wiring complications and the CDI might burnt itself out. I dont know if changing to a racing CDI will be worth it argh...

the service is the same. i make it a point to go to jb for servicing or doing some mods coz its way cheaper there. and they never charge for the 'workmanship' u paid here in sg. the only hassle is the customs and keeping an extra eye out for ur bike and ur well-being.

racing cdi is a must to change i feel.. it lets u drag higher rpms.. hahas

wiring complication? wat kind of complications can it hve when it's just the same kind of female plugs that your original cdi male plugs plug into?

and yes, racing cdi has lifespans..

to me jb & sg abt the same.. pricing only.. cos jb very exp in kups(i feel).. they do until dont want to do..

quality wise so so lah.. but watch out for ur screws/etc etc.. sometimes they nv tighten back one or nv tighten properly.. do check ur bike properly before u leave e shop
