hey bros. I was just wondering what's the point of changing to racing foot rest? is there is difference other than riding posture to a more forward stance instead of upright?

I'm contemplating on changing but ya, have no idea why. lol.

hope bros out there can enlighten me! thanks!! (;

Definitely a change of posture, some find it comfortable.

yes, racing footrest is tiring, dun bother with it imo. Unless ur a racer, then go ahead. (:

So you were an ex racer? Im asking because you said that it's tiring so i'm thinking you must have used it before.

So you're still on racing footrest setup i see. So how would you know if it's tiring when compared to using stock setup. Main point is, some riders find the stock footrest tiring with the sitting straight/on a chair posture and some of them actually tend to step the pillion footrest when on long journeys as it's some what comfortable to them.

So to xiao-j, try it out and feel which is better but be warned that on racing footrest, your rear brakes are almost hopeless unless you find a mech that can make it work just as per normal. Here's a tip, if you do convert, keep your stock parts, never give it to the shop.

true that. comfort wise i still think stock is a better option. esp when going the distance... but to each its own..so go try it out. keep the stock, switch around to see which 1 u prefer. whichever rocks ur boat.. (:

just nice all talking abt racing footrest . heh ~

contemplating on changing to racing footrest also. coz the riding posture on stock footrest abit tiring for me. and i find ppl riding and putting their feet on pillion footrest really2 crap. but what about the pillion? coz i'm the rider and the pillion of my own bike hee. the pillion footrest like abit "ternaik" so i'm not sure if pillion will be comfortable or not. hmm ~

my bike keeps dying off when stationary. at first its the timing (whatever, not sure). mech fix it already, then now, after change EO, keep dying also. i dont like the kanchiong feeling when it suddenly die in the middle of the road.

dear STALKER on SGBikes.com ,

YOU CAN SUCK MY MIDDLE FINGER DEEP DEEP !

regards,

yours truly.

There are certain racing footrest where the pillion ones are positioned quite high, those 1.8m and taller will have cramps when sitting behind. Mine was the Yamaha footrest the one which is similar to RB version.

Might be your idling too low? Setting of air/fuel ratio too lean? Go to a trusted mech and get it sorted out.

I am not worthy of both names. Just glad that it's only Rossi's bike with the luminous green on the bike.

Racing footrest very good. Especially if pillion is female. Even better if wear skirt or hot pants. :lol:
