Just overhaul my FZ Plate X1.

 

1.Conrod: RM185

2.Bearing: RM96

3.Clutch Plate: RM65

4.Clutch Spring: RM35

5.Gasket: RM38

6.Piston + Block: RM110

7.Clutch Bush: RM45

 

Also changed

 

1.Racing Boy Sportrims

2.Dunlop TT900 80/90 (Front)

3.Dunlop TT900 90/80 (Rear)

4.Wheel Bearing

 

Is there anything i miss?

Just got my X1 recently

 

bought it online from the forums here

 

well im a P plate rider as well so there's lotsa of thing i do not know yet.

then maybe u guys can help give me some advice here and dere = /

 

bought it for 1.3k

comes with racing boy rims

and a good suspension( dunno how good is good either)

ownself went down LTA transfer- 29 dollars

brought down to mechanics for servicing:

rear wheel 75

steering cone 45

engine oil 20

spark plugs 25

=165

~160

 

insurance was under mitsui tomui i think - 1.4k T_T ( inclusive of fire and theft)

 

so far okay right? i dunno the market price so i dunno if being axed or not

 

oh yea bought a **** + raincoat set from ah boy for 110 "aft discount" is 95.

 

but im still having troubles with the bike well mainly cos im used to the ones they used at ssdc with electric starter and an oil tank to grip. heh

 

problem 1) faced engine stalls a lot of time at the traffic light D:

problem 2) small issue can change when i get my pay whjich is the rear mirrors... they keep vibrating xD cant even see the cars behind me properly and is pretty loose. need to keep adjusting while riding halfway

 

Any advice'd be greatly appreciated for this new bird here:thumb:

wa... ur insurance really ex sial... haha... how come you dun wanna buy 3rd party insurance??

Maybe you need to adjust ur idling higher...

where did u go to svc ur bike?hw come ur spark plug $25? when charlton called me 2 say the shop chgin his spark plug for $8 (i tink) he kpkb liaos n urs is $20 =/

 

ur insurance.is rly super ex.mebe coz of ur age + gt fire & theft + the ever so increasing rate of bike accidents dat's y.

 

if engine stalled.either u up the idling or like me.everytime gonna reach junc.when wanna stop open throttle abit.abit only.den the engine wun die off.

 

n lastly.do ride safely aites

ntuc more expensive for me.. about 1.6k D:

mitsui 1k plus, ntuc 800 plus, for 19 yrs old, p plate.

 

maybe you can double triple check again you know.. cause 1.4k super ex sia..

at ubi/lorong ah soo there the industrial side.

apparently the fren who accompany me from day 1 since browsing for bikes and go LTA do transfer. he frequents that workshop so go there loh.

yeai think i ride quite slow atm. all the cars stay quite far away from me. either that or like 5s ago they behind. then aft that i see them overtaking me liao

i bought 3rd party + fire and theft maybe thats why... the person explained that ntuc and mitsui count differently one is by month one is by year... i forgot which. tho im guessing ntuc counts by year so mitsui slightly cheaper for me according to the person. yes. will do so. thanks

with fire and theft was 900$ but that was last october when i bought my bike.

now ntuc insurance rise up due to too many accident and loss money.

thought of buying a 2nd bike rxk but they now quote me $900 for a fb plate!
