any1 knows why my headlite bulb keep blowing every3-4 weeks after chnge.. ?

 

its reli costingg...

 

dont use local headlight, as it tends to be hotter then the original stanley ones.

that might cause the bulb to be blown easily..

any of u guys do have 125z standard footrest? cos i thought of fixing it onto x1.

gets tired of the stiff footest.

if u guys have, or know any lobang selling it, do pm me.

u use what 2t tasrif? i think shell not good ah..cheap..i use the esso more ex then shell, reduce the smoke abit..so i think must use ex 2t?

 

the summon letter from NEA which include this-how to help stop smoke pollution from motorcycles.(this part they macam paham uh)

 

Cause of white smoke:

- poor maintenance

- poor engine tuning

- use of excessive 2-T oil

- use of low grade 2-T oil

 

Effects of white smoke on road users:

- harmful to health

- unpleasant and irritating

- obstruct views of motorist

 

Motorcycles emitting white smoke will:

- have difficulty in starting, premature ignition and loss of power due to oil and carbon deposits in the engine

- Consume more fuel

 

You can help in the follwing ways:

DO

- tune engine regularly

- Check 2-T oil auto mixer setting

- Add only manufacturer's recommended amount of 2-T oil

- Use smokeless 2-T oil

- Carry out regular servicing and maintenance

 

DO NOT

- remain at low gear unnecessarily

- Rev your engine unnecessarily

 

 

Penalties for emitting smoke:

Compound fine not exceeding S$150 fro owner/rider of vehicle emitting excessive smoke.

..i used shell VSX, esso?...which one? extra or super? ..esso only got 2 type right?...

 

 

u can tune down the pump.

 

mine already at the least,dunno how much more to tune down...

125z footrest cannot be fixed onto other bikes coz they are being screwed in on the sides,whereas x1 & most 4stroke standard footrest are being screwed from the bottom. try searching for x1r standard footrest,they are also the foldable type one.

the 1st and 2nd time is the pin or needle inside the carb patah.

the mech told me.

now bike is in overhauling period.

must ride below 80 rite?

for how long uh?

and the rpm cannot be above 5 eh?

not holding it constant, need to vary the rev

 

if u full throttle for a long distance, cannot

 

drag a while, close throttle, drop 1-2 gears, drag abit, upshift etc..

 

then let engine cool down.

 

repeated the cycle for 3 times..
