My advise is to study for the correct exam with the correct Cisco version.

Over the years, Cisco has deprecated (taken away because too old) some software and routing features, and added new ones.

 

So if you wanna study past documents as if it was like Ten-Year-Series, you may be studying too much redundant information, or worse, taking the exam but some questions you can't answer because the study guide that you were using all along was a few years old and the functionality described on that exam wasn't out yet when the study guide was released.

 

I believe the newest version is Cisco IOS 12.4 - Go buy study guides for that one. If not sure, ask a professional, or get yourself into a training centre.

haha i got my ccna cert ordy from ite(2007).. but if u ask me anything related.. i'm total blank.. cos i nw studying electronics engineering @ ite oso..

 

but of cos.. ITE ccna cert is easier than the outside ccna cos my teacher say the ccna exam.. there will be cameras in the room seeing u do the test.. n only u alone..

The last time I heard, 2 training centres were offering competitive rock-bottom pricing. That is: $800 for the training

 

One training centre offered around (i think) $200+ for their test pricing if you also take their test at their centres as well.

 

And yes, they do biometrics for identification purposes. i.e. Thumbprint taking before the exam. You are also given a transparency and a marker to write on also.

A bit siao to think that Cisco has implemented these but i feel but I think it's because cheating is quite common in other countries.

my poly offers me free ccna coz i took up 1&2 last time in ite..

n the exams was slashed down until dunno how much den i forgot...

i left my exam paper to clear but was too busy during the last sem for my gpa .. =./
