Hey all...

I just went to racky for a motard drz 400cc 2009 model and came across this bike shop at bukit merah...informed the salesman that I want to trade-in my spark135 for a motard...so he offerred me this >>

i) trade-in spark price - $2600

ii) serve 5yrs instalments @ $280/mth

iii) no downpayment required, but only pay $100/-

iv) throw-in free remus exhaust pipe

Well, this may sound tempting to me...but is it wise to take up such offer?

Need some advise here please...

Thanks loadz!:)

5 yrs x 12mth = 60mth

60mth x $280 = $16,800

$16,800 x 7% = $17,976 ?

(estimation)

what is the % of the bike?

what is machine price?

what is ur insurance? (as normally dun included)

if u still need IU, extra $150

yes bro, according to the salesman...ins+gst+interest all in...

as for my spark trade-in...if the selling company (A) charge agreement or early settlement fees, the buying company (B) will bear the costs first and thereafter include the costs in my monthly instalments...

IMO, worth it cos 5 yrs installment, but need to check whether its PI or agent bike, check the terms n condition also

say the bike $13,200

trade in bike $2600

so loan 13,200 - 2600 = $10,600

5% flat for 5 years??

so will be 25% = $10,600 x 1.25 = $13,250

$13,250 x 7% = $14,177

so if 5 years, mthly is $14,177/60mth = $236.XX

not fogetting still got miscallanous, like insurance, IU, etc..

above are just estimation hor.

Hmm Free Remus pipe, Bukit Merah

I think I know which shop you talking about..

But Bro If He take your spark for $2600 And offered you 5 years installment. That's alot of money. He overcharging you bro. For $2600 downpayment you can just do for 4 years.

Me and my brothers and friends got a few bad experiance from that shop . Don't want to spread rumours. You should ask your friends or someone you know regarding a bike shop before you buy. Coz some bike shops won't tell you in details and some alot of hidden cost they will hide from you. Or Before you buy the bike, the bike shop will treat you with all the great customer service, but once you bought the bike.. They don't even have time to attend to your needs. So dont' rush when you want to buy bike. look around and ask around. Take your time Bro.. Cheers

yr sparks got any installment left? we must noe the details.. 280 is quite on a high side.. normally for d/p of 1.5k, avg wld be 230-250 per mth for 5yrs based on 24yrs old w 3yrs exp. otr price shld be ard 13+k-14k+ depending on yr age. note for the above mention otr price is based on 23yrs++ of age. usually new bike interest wld capped at 5%. neway there's no free lunch in the world. meaning those remus they claimed is free but actually they're using ur d/p money as a collateral for the pipe. meaning u r basically paying $0-$500 for yr d/p of bike and the rest is for yr pipe. dat explain yr mthly inst whc is quite on a high side. this is wat i notice so far
