Buy 1st hand or 2nd hand Vara 125?

Hey Guys,

 

Need suggestions on whether to buy 1st hand or 2nd hand Varadero 125, I've just passed my Class 2B. Besides the price difference, what else is there to consider?

 

Really need a hand from those experience riders out there.

how long do u intend to keep the bike?

first hand is around 10-11k. 2nd hand can get from 5-8k.

 

Other things to consider is the accessories. To accessorised a vara fully will cost you about 1-3k from scratch.

 

The things that you should look at from 2nd hand bikes is the fork, the meters whether it is still working. The other stuffs should be fine as long as it is kept stock. Mileage won't be a concern.

 

It all comes back to you. A brand new bike will be good if u can afford it. The vara guys can help u find a 2nd hand bike if u want.

Hey. I do suggest that u get a second hand Varadero and polish it up a little and it will look like new. But one thing is that u must maintain it or else anything spoil will cost a bomb as this bike is made in Spain. and the parts are like costly. I just changed my pair of fork and it cost me 800 dollars, sh*t
