Oh ok, thanks for the tip. Ill try to do the same.

I use to ride Gixxer 600, and since i got a chest injury, leaning position is now quite discomforting.

So switched to scooters, which now..im so in love with. So i got the 125 for a start..and all i can say its a good decision so far. FC is amazing.

I would like to see all your DT bikes..ill post mine when i get the time, today has been raining and bit cloudy.

Whoa!!! All DT riders so far below 1.7m.... Haha!!

Did u consider DownTown 300i too??

The power from DownTown 125i enough for Singapore roads right?? Haha.

Squeeze full throttle, DownTown 125 easily ahead of most cars =D

I am still very impress with Downtown 125

All that weight

Big size

Big storage

Can go 120km/h

Can climb mountain

And still sip on petrol

What a fantastic scooter :thumb:

My old skipper 150 since new

Around 110kg

Max 109km/h

Drink 22km/l

What a big difference compared to downtown 125

SYM GTS 200 also can do mah. That one 180cc, dont be fooled by the name. Haha!!

But horh, 120kph is downhill, full throttle, max 10,000rpm.

Wanna go uphill like Genting maybe 80-100kph max.

Fuel consumption depending on how I ride. If max throttle each time, on soft compound Metzeler, I'm getting 29.6-30.5km/L.

If ride within speed limit, relax relax, easily 33-34km/L.

But if go KL, full throttle all the way, only 22- 24km/L =(

I hope more people take to scooters after they pass their license. Especially the Kymco DownTown 125i/ 300i =D

Big road presence, dual headlights, LED DRL, huge storage, etc.... =D

To place comfort over speed =D

i was considering 300i, but i actually was more hitched of the 125 as a start. i weigh 90kg (yes I'm quite big), actually the bike handles it pretty well. Im very pleased. Though the seat is quite high, and tip toeing is a must..not quite use to it yet. I wish i can trim the seat a bit.hehe..

Motorsports is selling it now (MacPherson Showroom). For $100.

I bought it at $200 =(

The seat is not high actually.

The reason for tip toeing is the wide seat and floor board having no cutting (unlike burgman, silverwing, maxsym)for the legs to place closer to the scooter.

Downtown actually have low seat as standard.

From what I heard from Mr Herbert, the downtown we get in Singapore came with the high ones.

And the X10 will cost a bomb, to not only buy, but maintain as well =(

But at least, it's another option for scooter buyers looking into Class 2B, 2A or 2 =D

Kymco is still focusing on their "Xiao Mian Yang", such as the Agility or Super 8....

Their larger scooters (what MS is selling), sadly, I think, mainly for export market.

But each product of Kymco seriously has fantastic styling. It's hard to fault =D

The Japanese will still sell cos of their branding and image of reliability.

But going by their latest prices, phew!! How to afford sia???

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

X10

The X10 is really lovely in terms of design.

But yet they haven't manage to convince in terms of maintenance in Singapore. My X9 180 was

a good example (or rather a bad one).

Price wise I think it is going to be pretty much closer to the Kymco or the Sym.

They probably revamp the design (which is long overdue) coz the Taiwanese are giving them a run for their money.
