I also dunno what the difference between the '03 '04 and '05 models..but the bike was registered in Jul '03 and it's the flushed signal lights kind.

Paid $16.3k to the seller excluding transfer and insurance. Total will be about $17.5k. Road tax expiring in July and will hv to prepare another $500 to standby.

Good Buy!!! No wonder you jump into it 1st!!

Hope to see u on your FJR real soon... :lovestruck:

I would say that it's a very reasonable purchase...was attracted to the many gadgets on the bike such as blue neon light...volt meter...dashboard small compartment (wif safety feature) and alarm.

As I'm not mechanically inclined...rather get this bike direct from seller as compared to getting another similiar-aged one from bike shop where i'll not know the history and it doesnt come with so many gadgets. Somemore the original parts will be given back to buyer...so why not? :cheeky:

Hi Buggers,

Heyrul^77 & Rikk welcome to the :bouncefire: Diversion Riders Group :bouncefire: or DRaG...

Please give us your Hp: for any meetups we can SMS you guys... 'if you've flip through the threads' you can get almost all the buggers hp numbers and it is still the same.

There are quite a number of (diversion)lone rangers out there...and anyway, thanks to kelvin-> to introduce this site to Heyrul^77.

"About meetups" when we get together we'll share information about bikes and other stuff~ like up coming trips and so,so- if nothing we do not meet up like other regular biking groups...we all understand that we most are working buggers...on shift and have family.

Where you buggers are putting up need to know the location only (no need address!).

AnD LAst nOt LeAsT- Most diversion owner prefers to go touring- if you are, try to get a proper riding gears!!! no rush take your time 1st get used to the bikes' characteristic...

Currently my rear suspension is on 6 turns, what is the best turn should I adjust for comfy riding...Did u guys drop ur fork? If I were to reduce my rear suspension and drop my fork a little bit will it effect the stability of the bike?

I also intend to put the rear crashbar just before the side pinners but SK offer me $300 which i think quite expensive. Do any of divvy riders here fix the rear crashbar? where can i get the cheapest crashbar other than SK?

HL offer me $100 for the one seater moulded plastic, however if i were to buy it, i need to spray it coz come in white color. isit worth buying?

Hi Heyrul^77,

Q1)You can leave the rear suspension as it is - if the suspension suits you...if too soft it can be adjusted...it always best to leave it inbetween. stability would not be compromised but the height of the bike is already low if you were to lower the front fork- whenever you hit your front brake hard(during emergency brakings) the bike will dive... chances of front mudguard hitting the headlight cowling is very high.

If you have some height problems try replacing it with low profile tyres, once your tyres worn out.

Q2)Anything you want to do at SK is quite pricy but thats what they called custom made. So far no riders have fit one(rear crash bar) yet... only TP buggers using it. Do you really need it???

Q3)One seater cover is $100/- if you are interested have the cash go for it but only one burning question do you carry pillions at times, where you going to keep the cover?

Hi Silverghost...

Appreciates ur comment...

After consideration I think the one seater is nt tat important and i rather spend my money on other stuff like riding jacket and etc. As for the crashbar its for safety and protection purposes, if the price suit my budget than i will consider buying it.. its also act as a support to hold if i were to push my bike backwards.. coz still nt use to it..haha! Bike is heavy..bro!

Wat is the standard size of the rear suspension? number 6 is the centre one? If it is than i will stick to it..Front fork will like to drop a little bit by 3 to 4cm like TP bike. I see most of the TP bike had their front fork drop to tat size... As for the rear suspension they use number 4 for their Divvy.

Now i'm waiting for Casper answer so that i can fit the extended w/shield. It look cool & can i know the Skidmarx w/shield had the same size with TP w/shield? Wat is the height of the skidmarx w/shield?

What is the best low profile tyre for our Divvy? Does it cost so much? Think my tyre can still be use coz i believed tat the tyre is the original wan.. Its still in good condition. By the way what is the tyre pressure for both front and rear tyre?

I agreed tat i'm nt tat tall coz i'm oni 1.63m tall. Some ppl say cut the seat but i dun wan coz i like it to be as original as it is.. Now i'm tip toe wenever i stop at traffic light junction.. sometimes scare oso... haha! Pray for me..hehe!

By the way i'm staying in Bedok. This is my divvy.... dun forget to wave at me if u guys were to see me on the road... haha!

Be careful of the original tyres! It's very slippery during rainy days, make sure you have good and solid footwear to reduce chances of your feet giving way during stopping on such weather.

If wanna fix rear crash bar, gonna remove pillion foot rest.

The factory setting for front and rear sup is 4. Setting 1 for soft and 7 for hard.

The max pressure for front is 250 and rear is 290.

Wah, the reflect sticket on your box is super big and eye catching, sure can spot your bike on the road. :thumb:
