Hi Yappiez,

You only ordering locks not other parts from Krauser - If can, can you order for me those plastic strap that holds the pannier lids- each panniers have 2 straps~ when you open the pannier lid there are 1 black plastic strap on each side that prevents the lid from opening wider or drop lower..

I need 2 pieces of pannier straps. Maybe Haroze might order 1 piece too.

Hi BackOFF,

You're at West there are few guys around that area, Oxygen, Custom another one is quite close Euro....!

No problem...we can meet someother times... for supper :hungry:

For myself using the Nighthawk handle bar, trips to HatYai and back no problem there is no stress/muscle aches in my arms/wrist compared to the OEM bar..the handle is wider then the OEM...better for leverage. TP bar also wide but more higher..with that high screen shouldn't be a problem...

For the TP bar Custom has mounted it..DIY himself- maybe he can give you some guide how to mount that TP bar along with those cables...

Txs for the info, I had tried the Nighthawk w/riser, don't like the feel.

Currently having the TP's handlebar, feels better for me. After installing the handlebar, the clutch cable abit short, so went to check w/ HL.

Luckly there's a few sick TP bikes, so compared and found that they are using the longer cables.

$35 for the cable.

Morning DIY, feels much better with it now. :clapping:

:btw: Swift, the handlebar and riser are the same as Silverghost's. Get back to me if U wish to view it. Txs!!

Here's the update on locks. (rack lock (RL) + lid lock (LL) for 1 box only.)

Yappiez, err... how come got so many locking device? I'm abit blurr.... any pics to explain? :help:

Posted

Here's my definition.

Rack Lock (RL) = The lock on the box that you have to open when you remove the box from the bike.

Lid Lock (LL) = The lock you open when you want to taken things out from the box.

Heyyy, I'm in the west too. In fact, I have seen a Diversion one morning near my neighbourhood. Might be one of you guys. Anyone stays near Beauty World?

Backoff,

i think you will have to change the mounting kit and drill holes on your current panniers to instal additional lock. Plus buy new locks.

Our current locks are near the footpegs.

Are you traveling far?

Hi Guys,

Any meeting tonight at KTM about 2230hrs++ ...If you guys are "ON" call me...! I know some of you going to the 2nd link to top up!

I think that mctan, BackOFF, swift and the holy handsome buggers should meet for a cuppa coffee, tea or some goreng pisangs :hungry: ....to solve your desires ~ you buggers are going thru..he,he,heee..!

BackOFF, I'm only using the nighthawk handle bar ~ not the bar raisers and never did like the idea of using those bar raisers at all, felt like not safe to use even thou some of the buggers swear by it usage...with confidence.!

Here's the update on locks. (rack lock (RL) + lid lock (LL) for 1 box only.)

All prices and are coverted to SG dollars.

Currently trying to nego. for better price.

From main Krauser Germany = $110 (RL=36euro, LL=19euro)

From Netherlands = $80 (RL=LL=20euro)

From Australia = $140 (RL+LL=110AUS include shipping)

Shipping is quoted at 20euros from Europe and I believe with more orders, it should stay the same. Eventually will be split equally among all who ordered.

Pls add to list with quantity if you want to order.

Rack Lock

1) yappiez (2 unit)

2) custom x2

3)

4)

Lid Lock

1) yappiez (2 unit)

2) custom x2

3)

4)

Will try to post photo or meetup so we can compare our locks. (mine is different from the local ones.)

(Call/ sms 94244209 if want to meet up, I try my best.)

Thanks yappiez for ur effort.

As per our conversation, please help to find out if they can supply us in one key to open all 4 locks juz like our Divvy.

Understand that the locks are abt different but I'm willing to take the risk as they share some similerity.
