Hi Rikk,

Since your bike comes with bar riser, you may use night hawk handle bar instead of TP bar. Night hawk bar is 2 inches wider than original bar.

I have one night hawk bar, suitable for diversion mounting, dun need to drill holes. If you wan, I can sell you cheap cheap..

hi mctan, sounds like a good alternative.. but the height of the night hawk bars are the same except that its wider?

hi Rikk,

Its about 1/2inch higher than original with build in balancer.

As for the brake hose, I am not sure whether long enough.

 

If I am not wrong, TP front brake hose is $60(not sure).

Vector One offer 2 front HEL brake and installation @$165, please check with them again.

The handle bar is cheap...it worth the grab. As for the windshield you can try motorworld or chaplee for the screen they both have same pricing and height but different designs. but still need to wait for (+/- 3) months for the shipment. Better then biketech waiting for almost a year....

another way is to order the eagle screen.

It can custom to ur required size and best is abt 2-3wk to reach sg.

Yeah... I did grab it.

As for the w/shield i will try and go chaplee first see wat price they willing to gif me.. den i will go to MW and ask for cheaper price... The malay guy at MW willing to reduce the price for me but nt sure yet how much.. Pray for me for a good price...haha!

thanks guys for the input.. so LL have to change the hoses too lor.. like that might as well get the TP bars..

 

anyway think i KIV 1st... actually the stock bars with riser are quite ok for me.. just lean abit front only..(like super4)

 

anyway realise everyone ride with your panniers on huh ... think im the only divvy that leaves my panniers at home.. coz i go work everyday will jam.. not comfortable with my panniers on (as they are quite big) scare they will kena cars or what..

 

i just replaced the missing lock on 1 of the pannier, i got 2 in fact, which means i have 2 keys.. 1 for opening both panniers and another for locking/unlocking the panniers to the bike.. now i got a spare lock.. well better den short of 1 lock, hee hee

Hi Heyrul,

You are interested in spot lights(you were asking AJ) placing those spot light at the engine guard does not help much... you need to mount it higher and shone it down to make a full use of it.

 

Placing it on the engine guard you need to tilt it up- which could blind the on coming vehicle and your- riding buddies in front of you, their(riders) view mirrors cannot see anything behind them. (this will put them in danger -causing temporary blind)

 

There are couple of divvy buggers using it..we know the effect...

Thanks for the advised. Actually, I juz wanna put the spot light for decoration to my bike..hehe! Not really to use it during night time.. By the way, S'pore road is more brighter than JB(certain areas), I understand wat u mean. I wan it to be more like the pass light whereby i can flash the light in case I am approaching junction where there's a hidden hazard infront. At times, when approaching junction, those cars turning right coming towards our direction may juz wanna try thier luck to speed off when they see us frm a distance.

 

I also intend to put the red rectangular tail light for decor too. Juz to fill my empty space on my crash bar.

 

I will see how, if its really too dangerous for me to use it, i might disconnect the wire. I appreciate ur comment and feedback..and will look into the matter.

the strape comes in a pair as per the pic, which is good enough for 1 box replacement. 2 meants tat for both of your boxes. fyi
