BTW, my original tyres last me 27332 miles. Simply amazing.

The front is Dunlop GT501 120/70/17, $102

The rear is GT501 150/70/17, $112

Both are H rated tyres from Mah Motor Agencies, coz felt there is no need to install V or Z rated.

Not including $30 labour charge & GST.

So far so good, no complain.

Did u buy ur Diverted fr Mah Motor Agencies? Their servicing of Diverted issit responsible kind? I bought mine from there, only change oil, filter can tat's all. After 1year, like nothing much to change leh. I'm looking for a shop tat sells K&N filter and install and tune for my yammy diverted now. Suggestions any1?

I know that Dunlop tyre last super long...but didn't realise there are so many rated type.

But isn't it true it is longer lasting is because it is "harder"...So ride carefully on wet surface and don't corner too sharply..

Glad to know that both of u have installed your risers, no regret isn't it. Very comfortable riding posture. While i did not encounter any clutch problem, yet to give way. It is definitely a good idea to buy a spare cable in case of emergency.

My loan is from Mah Motor Agencies recommended by Mr Lee. Their service is generally good with no complain & mechanic were well versed with his task. The owner is the president for "S'pore Motor Association", something like that. not snobbish like some other bike shops. As most of the time i changed the plug, engine oil & shaft oil by myself, unless, the more tedious job lah.

I have installed a k&N filter in my v-max before, but it doesn't seems to have make much difference in terms of petrol consumption or the pull. After the installation of the K&N u may need to sychronise your engine coz of the air flow has changed, however it depend on the type of bike. Though the K&N may last for 100,000 miles. In addition, u may need to buy a special spray solvent for the routine cleaning of the filter. Even the original air filter i changed only once a year.

I personally felt that should u install the K&N, then it will be very effective with the combination of a after market exhaust & jet kit.

Wow, really lasting tyres... Most reviews i got from overseas only gave a max of 10k miles before a swap of new set of tyres are necessary. But then again those pple cruise on their freeways at ard 100MPH so thats the main difference i guess.

Jus like Palary, i'd made a 'short' trip up to Melaka for test out n stretch her legs. Because a cruisers pal was following, so i didnt speed over 120km/h in order to keep within speed. This was the longest i ever ventured up north on 2 wheels.

Journey up there was relatively uneventful, jus slow as we trudded along NSH.  Damm, it is so different as compared to driving a cage up, there u feel the elements of the weather in its entirity, whethere is a slightly moist gust of wind or the relative shirt comfort of a cloud's shade under a basking sun. Its unbelievable how fast that it can change from hot n humid to rain n gusty rain.

Cruising mostly at 110km/k @ ard 4.5k to 5k rpm, bike was quite smooth but not as good as when within the 4k-4.5k rpm range(is it the same with u guys??). It was there when all my $150 for the flip-up paid up for its price. My visor was up most of the time as i soaked up the scenery. It also shieded me from the ocassional bug that came SPLATTING on the windscreen, instead in my mouth(kenna once b4).

After slightly over an hour, my bum feel like it was burning up n my palms were starting to feel slightly numb, a rest at Pagoh town ensued. A quick bite later, we were on our way again only the weather has turned from bright n sunny to that of dark n pouring. Despite the rain, the Divvy still felt steady enuf to hold ground but my friend had to slow down somemore. Almost 3 hours later, we were finally parked in a hotel n started venturing.

Melaka was a pretty interesting place with very friendly n helpful locals. However the 'famous' Famosa chicken rice balls were quite a dissapointment as i tasted better ones locally. The Baba-style chendol werent too bad. Its a relatively small town n 3 hours were more than enuf to explore alot if it.

It was the return leg that made the trip somewat 'interesting', halfway through the journey back, we stopped at a petrol kiosk to have a quick rest. Everything went as planned except when my pal's bike refused to start... No amt of push starting helped. I feared a long delay as i diagnosed the problem as a spoilt battery. Then i was approached by the pump attendents who offered to help but at a 'cost' of RM50 jus to call a mechanic down. My friend, who was in a slight state of despair agreed despite my hesitations. "A fat lamb waiting to be slaughtered" i thought.

But an hour passed n there was no mechanic yet(the told us ther'll be here in 30min latest), then our bikes attracted some attentioned n this Malaysian Chinese advised us to get a jumper cables to jump start n it sounded a great idea. Then in a few minuites time, he drove his car over n with the connections made right, the bike was ready to go, only thing is that the throttle must always be on otherwise engine dies again. U should have seen the look on the pump attendent face when the bike started, in the end, he pulled me over to a corner n demanded RM5 for 'calling' his friends over n for their petrol $$ when they come... Rubbish, but still i paid n continued back on road.

That wasnt the end of it as the engine again died along the NSH and were stuck on the shoulder with big lorries whzzing past us dangerously close n fast. Lady luck smiled at us again a tow truck was nearby n once again, the bike was jump started n we were on our way again. We reached back singapore at 2 hours slower than expected n it seemed the rain was following us, riding under wet conditions for the last hour. Luckily the bike only agve way once we were almost back in school(NTU) n had to push for another 20min before the journey was done....PHEW!!! Finally back!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Overall, the Divvy proved a bike who has more than handful enuf to survive the wettest of condition at speeds. All along the ride, never did the rain damped its performace or its 'feel' of stability. Despite all the trouble i'd went thru, i'm still hungry for more adventures(but not pushing start bike part).

Anytime u guys are going 4 a day's trip up n down again, do tell me n i'd be glad to join... Cheers!!

- Type of insurance coverage (ie. Comprehensive, TPFT or Third Party)

- Name of insurance company

2) How much does the road tax cost? :deal:

Nono kanot juz pull out.

1. Take off the rubber cover.

2. you muz push the whole thing inwards so that it unlocks the hook then turn anticlockwise(or clockwise if wrong haha) then the bulb with its coupler will cum out easily.

Is there a possibility to get hold of the TP front fender that make it look wider and bigger. Divy is in my shortlist and i thought of making it identical to Singapore TP.

1 thing to highlight, i just went to lee motor yesterday. 1 guy told me that he actually sold a P version 2 mths ago. P version available ???? He told me that this P ver got no power cut as its a police bike.

If Lee Motor isn't pulling our legs, :p how is it that the P version is sold to the public? Can it actually be ordered from Hong Leong or do you have to parallel import it in then? Hey, can someone verify this? :? I'm really interested! :bounce:

Thanks! ;)

I didnt even know there is a power cut in S, E version diverted. Cos i thot it is supposed to be a Europe export bike, its not even sold in US. I believe Haroze say abt the fitment in Japan for P version, cos that's what Hong Leong Mr Lee told me also. But we can actually buy the fitment from their supply store at Paya Lebar service centre, rear hand rail must remove for the back guard to mount. Front fender costs abt S$2k!!! Front and back engine guard dunno cost how much, the fender costs make me sian half liao. :pity:

Hey guys,

How long does ur rear brake pads lasts.......It was barely 2 mths n 3300miles when i realised that the brake pads were TOTALLY worned off to the metal......Does it chew thru the consumables at such a rapid pace?

Also when i changed the rear pads there($65...damm ex), they also mentioned that the rear brake caliper was slightly jammed as it did not retract fully n serviced it for free... I believe this may have been the cause of it... Do check it on ur bikes for such a prob as he mentioned this was a reculcitrant prob.

Once again, i was quite pleased with HL level of service rendered though it was not cheap. But at least as wat someone mentioned b4, you feel shiok even when paying so much.......

Cheers

My original brake pads last abt 17000miles, the org. pad made in Japan is very expensive. $55 per set. not incl labour chrg. They aslo sell org. pad but made locally for at least half the price. I also encountered the calipers jammed on front left 7 mths ago. The mechanic at Mah Motor Agencies stripped & serviced it, eventually fitted with after market brand, "SBS" gold for $28 X 2.

original brake pads $65 cheap liao loh.

I use goldfren $14 per pair , no lost in performance in wet. And everytime I change the pads I will grease the pistons, so no caliper sticking problem here.
