Thanks for the advised! You mean urs drop on the road? Advised please! :lovestruck: I saw ur Volmeter somewhere on ur left side fairing rite? U Drill a hole and mount it there. Also wonder how can the vibrations knock the thingy off? But can it still be used?

Hi Heyrull,

Not knock off from my fairing I mean K.O, the meter is not accurate anymore not working normally and sometime start to show from the opposite direction 16v to 9v sometimes normal. I realized the meter is gone; kill by the bikes' vibration.

Its' not easy to pull the voltmeter out from the fairing as I cut the hole on the fairing around 50mm and file out to a roughly between 51.8/9mm in diameter. The Voltmeter is 52mm it is a very tight fitting.

I have thrown the old analogue voltmeter already and no use to anyone.

Is there any other bikes that i should conside to replace my Divvy? This bike is indeed like a Labrador Retriever. :thumb:

Hi Kevin,

It's your decision, thus your Diversion giving you any sort of problem that makes you, want to change the bike. Or it just itches... o_O

I've already when through that path couple of times... Question's always hits me back, why should I change a bike that does not give me any problem.

Then~Do I really need an extra power and upgrade to bigger CC tourer or why do I need such a big bike to ride around, just down grade to smaller CC...?

After some thinking- I stick back to my bike- You cannot get this "breed"make anymore...!

This is my decision! this bike keep on going... miles after miles...

Guys,

Serviced my rear wheel last saturday.

Changed bearings, brake pads, replaced pistons, piston seals and flush brake fluid.

When I took out the bearings, relised that one of them was unable to rotate freely and another having some resistant.

After replaced the bearings, it takes much less effort to spin the wheel. One pull, the wheel at least can spin freely for 3 rounds. Before changed bearings, it only spinned 1 round or less.

It is advisable to check your bearings at least once a year. To wash and grease the bearing or replace the bearing.

Brake disk -$130

EBC Brake pads - $45

Pistons and seals service kit - $40

Motul RBF600 Brake fluid - $15

4 x Bearings- $16ea, total $67.2 w gst

6 x Brake disk screws - $1.40 ea, total $8.40

Hi Heyrull,

The Voltmeter you saw at the Mustafa, was the analogue type I'm using it, after couple of months in my bike. The bike vibration knock the thing off.

Now I change the voltmeter into the digital type priced $55/- from one of the car accessory shop at the Alexandra Village just 30m to 50m before the road exit.

You cannot miss that shop, they have alot of car accessories hanged outside that shop another clue is, just beside the car audio shop.

Those Voltmeter's- are Taiwan made. The analogue type is cheaper at mustafa, unless someone knows other then that....There are 3 wires ~Black wire grounding, red wire to the ignition key return wire, the last yellow wire conect to the head lightings.

Brother Ghost.....Do u know where can I do my bike wiring....:help: My spotlight suddenly got short circuit.I don't know where to go to.......:help:
