lets think positive.

its an old bike with wear n tear problem waiting to break down.

as long the shop repair the bike then its ok .

when i bought mine the owner say all in gd condition.

the first week i use got many problem.

lucky now ok after they fix it.

but to bad the mechanic dont want to tell me what they do.

 

if the bike shop willing to repair his bike under warranty, then thumbs up for it. Just afraid they will push the responsibility to him instead.

Huh? lol i went down to look at the coolant wha the whole thing same color.. whitish milky color.. Then just nice one cbr600 guy come back i asked him he said smth abt water pump then engine oil mixed with coolant? not too sure,.. he asked me not to ride and call tow.. which i just did. LOL...

hmm.. well.. last month i called motorworld abt de quotation for the new yoshi pipe for cbr400 it's ard $900. so must depend which model of de yoshi pipe u getting. mine is a old model of yoshi pipe. duno wad model, but de previous owner said no more production in sg le. he oso said he bought dis for $400+. so bro must depend whether which model of yoshi u getting n ask those expertise here n maybe dey can give u a better suggestion. i'm jus giving my 2cent help. hope it help. 400++ is on the high side . unless what u get is quite a new pipe.but u still need to send for inspection and all. i believe 800+ u can get a new one , if u're riding for quite a long time to come. den get a new one . anyw when u sell , also will push up ur value by abit.

Cannot be engine oil and coolant mix bah... The only place where got change for them to mix is at the water pump and there are two seals to prevent them from mixing... Even if the seal breaks there is a drainage hole for the leak to flow out... Also you said the leak is at the overflow hose rite?

 

Anyway is good you tow your bike lah, better be safe then sorry...

Cannot be engine oil and coolant mix bah... The only place where got change for them to mix is at the water pump and there are two seals to prevent them from mixing... Even if the seal breaks there is a drainage hole for the leak to flow out... Also you said the leak is at the overflow hose rite?

called the shop they say nth wrong with the batt.. then say mayb i whole journey step on footbrake then the light on so batt weaker ZZZ then now say gna disconnect rear brake signal.. like i first time ride bike i duunno wether stepping on brake not..

nvm then petrol they say mech cant find any leak.. when i go collect bike othen double check.. he say maybe cus i pump too full..

Then coolant that one still checking...

Even if you do step of the brake all the time it definitely wun drain the battery one... :giddy:

 

If the mechanic can tell you this kinda thing, really doubt the competency of this shop...:faint:

 

Once i forgot to off my ignition, (only killed engine), went to work, came back after 9 hours and I was still able to start my bike...

 

I would suggest you cut your losses with them, and find a good shop to service your bike.

hi guys, when the bike's speed is at around 130km/hr , is the acceleration of the bike still strong? like easily will increase speed still ? i'm facing problem when in high speed, i feel tht the power of my bike suddenly will decrease after 130km/hr making the acceleration like not very strong. any idea whats wrong with it ?

Carbs maybe dirty or not synced properly... Maybe Air filter dirty... Spark plugs fouled or failing soon or wrong heat range...

And for cbr400 , which are the common problem / expensive problem / deadly problem tht i will encounter? and if to repair hw much will it be ? and will i encounter piston jam and block problem like common class 2b ?

Common problems I would say are, wiring, temperature ( radiator ). Radiator might get a little costly to replace with a new one. About piston jamming, I've not heard my friends saying their class 2A and 2 bike jammed before. 2B bikes which runs on 2T would meet with such problem due to the lack of lubrication on their piston, whereas we don't use 2T. Don't see Spark, x1r jam before also. lol.

Wow, how your friend jam his x1r. Okay maybe really can jam, just that I don't know. lol.

 

Radiator I would say can set back 400 dollars, maybe more, maybe less. The average temperature while cruising should be around the wording "E". During jams, might go more than half, 3/4 maybe. CBR tend to have alot of wiring problem, when you open up, the wire sometime is so messy and might burn fuse easily if not done properly.
