ICE87:just a suggestion bro, IF you getting a new bike it would be wiser to spend money on the inside of the bike rather than e outlook first..when u buy a bike first thing to look out for is batt and rectifier,,,you have to change this both..unless you have cash to spend on outlook and inside then ok la but just an advice.cos no point having the best paint job and outlook when it cant run and start properly..

here's a list of what i'll suggest you do first,i did the same things-

-wash tune carbs

-change EO and filter

-batt and rec

-brake pads and brake fluid

-check sprockets and chain

-tyres

-cone bearings,wheel bearings

-clutch cable,throttle cable

-wash and flush coolant

-change coolant hoses

-air filter

the above mentioned is just a guide of things recommended to get done first,as our other fellow bladers know, this all is considered the minor things that need to be done.the MAJOR things would be suspension, wiring and so on..hope this helps.cheers bro!

ya..dats one problem..conflictin view... but den even different shops also got different opinion...1 good example 2day is d velocity stack for our fireblades..

some say short better , some say long...:giddy:

must see wat is the purpose of the bike..

if u need to mid range to improve, use the shorts one.

if u need better pick-up, use long one is better..

that y diff shop give diff views..

what you say is exacly rite gladiator, tis is a common mistake most of ppl make. they see the prop and change it. the inner part of the bikes are the important things which cant be easily seen. and further more , bike ugly also nvm. the health of it not good can, .... will even some time have to end up park the bike at the side of the road and take taxi to work. haiz.. kenna before on my SP.

so gald whats the next mod you planning to do? the grounding and PA is it?

tell me when you going ok, will inform you if i can tag along(same to ninja)
