interesting.. so where did u see the catalogue??

i m thinking tat it should be something tat goes 2front/1rear or 3front/1rear..

it really depends on how much brake lines u need. a cbr would need 2front/1rear, a sp/phantom uses 1front/1rear & a cbrxx uses 11lines!!

i m currently using them, & in my opinion, they works pretty well.

hi there, thinking of getting a cbr400. saw one at new southern, FM plate, original paintwork going for 4k machine price, worth it? any idea how much the total cost will add up to? 20 this year but using dad's name. i tried to on the bike but when i rev it, there is this creaking sound, the mech told me the plug burnt but he'll replace. should i trust that fella?

Nothing to lose.

4k for a CBR400 Fireblade is ok, but depend on which plate.

I bought my RR model FP plate for $6.5k 2 years back from De Xing. Prices for CBR & RVF maintains at a high level. Im not sure of current market prices though as I seldom go to bike shops nowadays.

I agree wit Tommy, it's a very big risk to buy Hurricanes from the shops 'coz a lot of them are in very bad conditions due to old age and it's easily covered by new paintwork etc.

If you're unlucky enough to get one of those very sick ones you may have spend even thousands more to rebuild them.

That happened to me many years back when my 'new' Hurricane's top block burst at 180kmh on SLE. Poom! And it had a lobang size of 2 pistons. Kaput!

However Ive never seen Tommy's bike so I dunno if it's good but if he's been living with it for some time that means it's roadworthy.

its FM plate. any shop you've been selling fireblade at this price or lower but condition alright? scared that at this price, condition may not be as good.

Nothing to lose.

4K is ok but it seems tat this bike is pretty old. registered somewhere 91/92.. i doubt the bike would be in fantastic condition, so lotsa stuffs to check.

inclu insurance, tx fees & bla bla, probably slightly below 5K.

btw, ntuc dun take cbr400 so it doesn't matter if u r using ur dad's name.

IMHO, it better tat such bikes r bought from 'reputable' pple in the forum/biking community where they r known to take care of their bikes. in most cases, well maintained ones wouldn't end up in bikeshops. aftsales repairs & replacement can really rip u off.

erm, that one is my wife. yeah, i was there on monday to pay my installments. there is this young lad with weird looking eyes and long bengish hair quoting me the price. i don't really know much about the price of fireblades but i know that shop thru my friend who get 2 bikes from them, full cash. he got go down with me a couple of times to ask about the pricing so i think they sell it to me abit cheaper. condition looks ok but as i mentioned above, when reving, got this creaking sound. anyway, my tp date is booked, 26th april. must practise hard!

Nothing to lose.
