4T but ive always wanted to try riding a 2T runner. Shiok not?

 

syiook.. i did the conversion recently but it took me a while to adjust maself to 2t.

 

in terms of maintenance, i guess with 2t, u have to be more meticulous.

 

another good thg about 2t when compared to 4t is tat 2 always comes before 4 so if u make the switch, u have to accustomise urslf tt u'll always be in front of the 4t....if u know wak amin..

i'm not really sure bout this as i havent tried the elongated ones but i heard they're much better than the common-used filters.

 

but im curious as why there are riders using the bullet-filters. is it good? doesnt it look heavy? it looks like a machine gun to me.

looks more like 2nd exhaust to me.. hehe.but from wat i know onli malossi is available locally now.and polini u must order thru future.bt if im not mistaken both is meant for 2 stroke.not sure if can be fitted for 4 stroke due to the varying air filter connection diameter of d carb..

All filters work more or less the same way, allows more air intake.

Longer sponge filters has a airbox like effect. there will be a supply of cool air inside the hollow foam. While short ones, just suck whatever there is outside the foam.

By the way which open pod are u referring? Bell mouth?

For elongated filters is the best amongst all coz of its stored "standby" air to be throttled

Means there's always air ready. It doesnt need emergency air to be taken.. = ready to be full throttled.

Mushroom filter with cover = no point fixing open pod. Better to use original airbox.

It restrict air flow to be transfered. So no point if u wanna fixed open pod with cover.

 

This is my point of view.. maybe others have better words to explain. heh'

not bell mouth dude.. refering to hurricane and k&n filters.. to me bell mouth is more for aesthetic value.. not too sure if its applicable for daily use in singapore.very easily dirt can enter thru d opening.tryng to find a filter which will work best for my 4 stroke as i'm not satisfied with the hurricane open pod im using.. it just doesnt feel right somewhere during the throttling.. in my cart? heh not so soon.got better things to settle first.need a new set of lens for my cam =)

well 2 stroke parts are easily available from europe that's why lotsa mod.if cosmetic mod generally can be done on vxr 05 model as well.if based on ur pics bro, all using U-TURN PIPE! haha nice and good pipe.. but illegal in singapore.. but then malay got one saying: BERANI BUAT BERANI TANGGUNG. simply put if ur ready to face the music for using u-turn pipe, why not? hehe think manufacturers for the u-turn pipe forgot to add a clause to their sales: 'THE DEVIL IN THE PIPE IS INCLUDED' coz the pipe really makes u bike go like hell.. hahaha!

Not really advisable cos it sucks everything in, including dirt!

there is a road legal chamber for 2 stroke runners.

Scorpion exhausts but i think there is no dealer or distro here in SG.

but how u determine if the pipe is road legal in singapore? from the website it states road legal but i think that's refering to the european countries rite? if scorpion dealer u mite wana try motovation.. but i doubt they bring in the pipe also..
