Yes, NOS for bikes are possible. But not here in SG of course. In the US, with reference to Cycle World Magazine, they juice up Hayabusas, ZX-12's, Blackbirds, u name it. All bikes from litre-up have been juiced up & tested on e dragstrip. Haven't read of below-litre bikes being juiced up though. U know e Americans, they spend money equivalent to 5 times the bike price on modifications. They're 100 times more fanatic than us here, hehehe. Of course they have places where they can test-machine legally. The most popular is the Salt Flats in Bonneville. Over there, u can drag a Busa wide-open-throttle till redline & it'll still be a long way before u reach the other side. Neverending open space, Biker's Paradise. Damn.

wwahh nice man.. i;ve read sumwhere.. it is possible for even 150 cc bikes to put nos.. but i wont believe till i see it for myself.. haha.. anyway u got a point there.. even if we can install nos.. where ca we find a road in singapore.. long n free enuf to start spraying nos.. haha.. damn.. singapore's a fine country.. :( :cheeky:

Btw, I cancel my plans to upgrade to 400cc. Might as well tahan for one more year then bring out class 2. I surveyed all the available 400cc sportbikes options, all are 2nd hand except RVF which costs $2K more than a new '06 R6. 2nd hand bikes, cheap as they may be, but the money u have to fork out when things start breaking down one by one are best saved up for downpayment of a class 2. So my Progress package goes to inspection, insurance, rd tax, paintwork, suspension & fork servicing.

 

Damn...

You mean the '06 R6? Now that's an excellent selection. My colleague currently owns one. Bloody beautiful. Only one concern is the pillion seat, very cramped & frog-like style pillion footrest. A girl would have no complaints. Me n my other biker collegues tried being pillion on his bike & end up cursing n swearing hahaha. But of course, this bike is born n bred for the track. Who carries a pillion on track anyway?

 

Power wise, it's one hell of a high-revver. Very close characteristics to a stroker. With slipper clutch included, engine braking is similar to a stroker. With its Yamaha Chip-Controlled Throttle (YCCT), it doesn't matter how u twist the throttle; the onboard CPU makes sure the power delivery stays smooth & linear, no jerks AT ALL. Being a pillion when my colleague blasted it to 200km/h, I know. Hell, my balls were at my throat the entire time. Upon dismount, my knees were like jelly baby, damn. For him, his face looked like he just had sex. Farker.

 

Thinking of future track days? This bike is the best in e supersport cat currently. Track-wise of course. Corner timing might come even closer to a 250's. Thumbs up for ur choice of bike bro. Hopefully, u'll get it soon.

haha.. nice bit of info there... u really noe ur stuff man.. haha.. anyway.. i was thinkking more of the 03 or 04 R6.. coz frankly speaking .. i really hate the new R6 06 exhaust.. coz its like half way eaten carrot.. hahah.. thats my opinion anyway.. coz i love the class 2 because of its sheer big size n nice big exhaust.. other than that.. i simply love the R6 .. haha.. so was thiking of getting the maybe a bit older version of the R6.. see how lah.. if my pockets consent to it..
