when i 1st bought my bike, shop gave me spoky rims.. size was 2.15 rear an 1.85 front if im not wrong. handling is quite a big difference. the spoky not so stable, will vibrate alot during normal riding.. price wise, cost of rims, cost of spoke and cost of 125z hubs.. last tym i asked was 400++ rm if not wrong..

TZM OUTING NXT MONTH Saturday 10-05-08

 

Okay guys, as usual there will be an outing nxt mth. Make urself free la once in awhile we gather and hang out. Dun worry if ur bike ugly or too fast or too slow, d main thing is dat u have a TZM n it can move. Hahahahahah! I dun mind wether only 2 or 3 turn up, we will still carry on with the gath. So dun be shy just come along we can talk2 take picture n meet other TZM owners.

 

For dis mth's gath, Eyan has requested we move our usual 1st saturday of d mth gath to d 2nd week as he has a chalet celebrating his wife n baby girl's bday n is inviting us TZM riders to come over. This is an opportunity for us to strengthen our bonds, meet new frens n see how each other is doing.

Yaw dawg! Im new here...Been bringin my TZM nearly a year now...Got it from Albert the fcukin shop as famously known to most ppl..But i didnt rush him though when i wanted to take my bike n its still runnin sweetly till now..not really much problems but onli received fcuked up rusted forks with leaking oil seal which i still haven't change till now..hahaha. But overall the bike hasnt dissapoint me yet. Kinda X uh...machine price 4.5k but with interest its 5.6k..My rear suspension is also soft n i still hasnt changed it..hahah. But wats important is dat the engine n valve aint givin probs n dats wat matters most for me coz most ppl says that TZM is a problematic bike n its always because of the valve. The best way for me to maintain the bike is keep the 2t pump big n always pamper the bike with X petrol such as V-POWER n good 2t (Motul)...but im always usin Esso Low Smoke coz u noe why la...hahaha. Chiaoz fellas.. I can be contacted at 91407517 (Aby) . Stayin at yishun. So take care yaw! Ride safely ayte.

Anyone here with moulded tail ends?? Juz wanna noe whether u guys registered at lta for changed paintwork colour n moulded tails.. Coz i asked a ROV once n he said that moulded tails shud be registered if wanna change... So juz wanted to noe if u guys registered or anyhow 'lagau' onli.. Tnx.

i want to ask everyone's opinion here...my bike was awkwardly low...very low in fact...sesetengah orang panggil, chasis jatuh....then i installed a bracket at the mono...now its higher than before...da prob is, at start it was ok since my mono was just recently bought at da time i installed the mono...cornering was a bit nervous at the beginning but still it went allrite...x lari sangat pun...

 

but now, it begans to 'buai buai'...da bike went off n on when cornering...its like da front n rear were going another way...

 

from da reviews i heard, its becoz da bike is higher so da suspension will surely goes unpredictable....

 

any opinion?

If thats the case..Get you suspensions/fork rebuilt..Sometimes spoil steering cone/bearings orhub/wheel bearings and even "irregularity" of the rim can give you that effect..

 

You know of the petrol issue and when will it take effect?

guys i have a problem ah..my engine oil leaking.. when i went to the shop to re fill my engine oil they discovered that actually my screw casing has worn out.. and the only way to solve this problem is to overhaul then only can replace the casing..u guys knows of other ways to solve this problem?? temporarily he taped my screw..

about tail ah.. that time i was stopped b rov he saw my tail but after realizing thats its not one seater then he never say anything..otherwise surely he'll make noise.. from what i know its legal but the lenght shouldnt be longer than the stock tzm tail..i think for this you can 'lagau'

first of all sorry everyone...i forgot to tell about da details in da 1st post + theres typing error...

wat i meant was at da time i installed the bracket, i did changed my mono too...a gud one....

 

by da way, everything u guys suggested has be done...my fork has been rebuilt n steering cone n bearings has been changed....n surely theres nothing wrong wif da rims...da rim was checked as well da suspension...

 

about da mono, i adjusted da mono...but still da prob occured while cornering...most of my friends said is becoz da facts dat da bike is higher...n higher bike will surely lose control only becoz da bike is higher....well, maybe its true...but i wonderin whether there is an other explanation...

 

but a friend of mine said its because da point of gravity...da point of gravity of a da higher bike are different with da normal bike...so it will affect the grip of da tire when cornering since every point, not just da gravity point, has changed...in this case, i have to make an adjustments on the tires + maybe da fork have to been changed so dat a bigger size of tire can be used on da bike....he also said dat da bike is higher where da measurement of da height increased but not the width...n this wat made da bike went unbalanced....i felt its hard to understand but still in some part sounds very logical...

 

so wat do u guys think???

 

if possible, i dont want to remove da bracket only to make da bike stable again for cornering....coz my bike will be awkwardly low without da bracket...more lower than da standard tzms....
