Yamaha TZM 150 Riders

Hi guys,

I would like to know if its true that TZM's valve always breakdown?

Cos I'm deciding whether to get a KR or TZM. Currently I'm riding a stock rxz.

I hope u guys can help me. I know TZM is a powerful bike and so is KR. So i'm still deciding.

Which one is easier to maintain?

alamak... jus overhaul den i realise got e same engine sound like las time... how eh? if nvr clutch in e sound like wan to xplode veri coarse... sumore e vibration... haiz...

Can anyone do me a favour and measure the distance between the footpeg hanger bolts on a TZM where they mount on to the frame like this?

Just got a TZM, first day nothing, 2nd day nothing, 3rd day difficult to kick start and the pipe's giving alot of white smoke. Any help regarding this? First timer on bike.

be4 u on ignition, kickstart a few times. then on ignition, wait for the transformer sound finish then kickstart the bike. everytime off ure fuel gauge when u park your bike. when bike cold, its normal to have smoke, after u move on for awhile gone ler. if not, adjust ure 2t pump. right side of faring.

if you park at open carpark, cover ur pipe opening with bottle cap..that way no water enter..if not shake ur bike den start ur engine..

Thanks for the advice. Apparently it has something to do with my kickstarting method, now it starts fine but still it drinks lots of petrol, every day at expressway roughly at 100km/h from Commonwealth to Marina bay there, 3 days ago full tank now down to half, maybe more. Is it normal?

Thats normal la..i from sembawang to bukit timah daily..pump esso 5000 $10 every 3 to 4days..

why not u pump full , then reset ure meter. next petrol pump full tank again. Then calculate, distance travel / litres pump.

I was riding my tzm ytd .when i switch to gear 3 and trottle ,suddenly the blue light flash and it started losing power and drecrease speed and came to a stop,after that very diffcult to start.izzit batt weak ?or some prob with the machine .pls advice thanks .

Hmm..many things can cause it..

Case 1: check fuel, 2t, choke..if all ok..

Case 2: Spark plugs wet.. Change spark plug..

Case 3: if after some time the bike can start back, its the air inlet being blocked..Do setting of air n fuel..

Case 4: Carbruetor fill with water..Go clean carbruetor..

Case 5: Piston or block damaged..Go overhaul..

 

**Note: if battery is flat, no light will come up if u switch on your key**

Just my experience..Up to you to experience them..hehe

whats the red light with the teapot pic .just wondering .and it always tend to die engine during traffic lights when i down gear and clutch in .just got my M .maybe inexperience with the toy.i tried ,only the meter light is on .the headlight and the rear light all cant be switch on

the red light keep flashing since i bought the bike .but i filled my 2t to the brim already still appear

theres something like an indicator on the 2t pump might be faulty.. 90% thats the cause.

HI guys, i was wondering if any of you guys might know of a shop that does top over haul and value for money... Msia or SG also can.. Need to get my valve serviced
