SP 2T Problems !

hi there

i have a problem

i think its serious

but my garage seems to think otherwise(just like almost anything else)

i filled my 2T to max allowed the day i bought my bikenever added a drop after that day

till today, the 2T dosent run out

used about 15 full tanks of gas, checked to see that the "low 2T" light is working, even open the 2T pump untill the whole carpark is smoked.

i peep in the 2T container, still have wor. . .

i fear the PISTON JAM!

and my dammm suspension squeaks . . .

what on earth is going on?

BTW, anyone know how much is SP rear brake pump kit cost approxy?

Guess it's your 2T pump stuck or something. Better get it check as soon as possible before your piston jams.

If theres smoke theres 2t mixed .. i suggest u premix .. safer and better .. more accurate than 2t pump too ... perhaps u shld check the 2t cable .. too little 2t is guess

Try getting the 2T pump as well as the 2T jet of the carburetor and ALL 2T lines (rubber tubing) checked for clogs.

Spray out the joints with chain lube. Also check for free-play and leaks which could mean the suspension should be replaced.

I suggest when u fill up petrol, pour some 2t inside. dont save on the 2T, but dont too much also la...

 

my friend told me 10L petrol put in one cough bottle of 2t.. so i think its like 100ml? i cant rmb, dont quote me.

 

 

So, you go to yr workshop, tell mech to check and service the pump, then from then onwards keep the 2t tank filled and pour abit into the petrol tank too. This way no need to wrry abt it.

 

or if piston seize keeps appearing on your head..

 

buy 4 stroke!

Do a total flush of your 2T pumpand see if this problem persist...normally 1 2T bottle can last you about 3 pumps....if go beyond that something might be stuck in your 2T system.

 

Anyway in themeantime add some 2T to your petrol.

3 pumps? urs also spoil one.. definately can last up til 5 full tanks or even more.

15 full tanks, havent use finish 1l is indeed too little 2t although

8L of petrol put 200ml of 2t.

True ... But if nv run then 20 ml of 2T should be enough bah ...

 

25 ml per litre and a clogged pipe will turn an SP into a mosquito fogger

hmmm mostly i will bring out about 180ml of petrol as long as i dont go over 9L everything will be alrite

 

But for ur case i think there is something stuck in the 2t pump please go to ur prefeered mech and have a check before everything would cost a bomb in ur pocket (piston Sieze or jam)

Need help for my SP... Every time i start my bike, there's a lot of white smoke. The smoke make my underground carpark full of smoke. And everytime i throttle after start engine, more smoke emits. Throttle more, even more smoke emits. Isit bcos of my 2T or any?

 

And what 2T should i use?? Premix or the normal one. If premix, what should i get for SP FS plate..? Scared kena fined.

normal if engine is cold.

if change the whole rear brake pump - $85

piston jammed means it's jammed. unable to move up and down.

 

not good to experience that.

 

depends on how much fuel you pump each time. 1L should last you roughly 4-5 full tank.

for all you noe,it is working fine,even a gd 2t smell drooling from ur exhaust is not a good sign.tis is the problem that always 2 strokers will encounter.aniwae,dun worry bro everytink will be fine unless otherwise... =)gd luvk
