Hi guys,

i finally got the result of my 4 way camera, it's ain't a HD as HD wun be able to support up to 4 ways. so far the tech is only 1 ~2 way max~...

 

but recently~.. me and my group of rider had a bad bad experiences during our we visit Malaysia Lego on it's 1st day launch (15 Sept 2012)~...

the picture is that of a RD32ii which is a FULL HD 1080p cam...

but the description is that of the RD32 Ver 2.0 which is a 720p HD cam...

this set should come with a full mounting kit which includes the handle bar swivel mount and head strap...

the original price of $239sgd is ridiculous...

at $139 its a ok price to buy...

i mount it with 3M dual lock velcro using it as a rear view camera...

Taken off a contour roam2 profile mount. Loving it so far except for the wind noise, and need to readjust the alignment.

First time using catch reckless driver already.

Not bad. As for the wind noise it will be very hard not to have any seeing that we ride a bike and are always exposed unlike cars it will be shielded from mother nature. What you could do is to edit it to remove the sound.

that aside. pretty good quality. wind noise is just a small irritant la. if you using these for insurance purpose, not a problem bah. can always take away video noise.

hey NL .... i got it off amazon at 199 like u mentioned. the trick is to use forwarding service such as comgateway or borderlinx.

i used comgateway and nothing but praise for their service. cheap, reliable, trackable.

what it does is amazon -> physical comgateway address (Portland warehouse) -> your indicated singapore address.

 

since i used amazon free delivery, the first part to Portland warehouse didn't cost anything.

Entire delivery took just 8 working days and 13 usd.

 

So to sum it up, the cam reached me within 2 weeks and cost 199+13 = usd 212 (~260 sgd).

any more questions, feel free to ask

This is the 2nd outing - adjusted lens alignment, pointed the cam upwards slightly, bumped up the resolution to 1080 and turned up the mic volume. The skies opened up and it was a good chance to test the waterproof feature too.

 

After this, left with a night shoot and that should be it in terms of testing the cam. Will post non-boring vids in future

sorry to enquire so many questions as i nearly ordered tachyon ops hd but after looking at your clip i think the quailty is alot better as for the transition from dark to bright.

the transition thing is actually youtube's built-in transition vid effects. i didnt go from dark to bright place, but rest assured it does'nt have that wonky washed out effect as shown on the tachyon vid
