Nicely edited with comments. Goes to show most inconsiderate drivers are taxi drivers.

Actly i somewhat choose to think that this happens because they spend more time on the road. If u ask the those ahpeks in the mercs/bmw or those ahbeng in their civics to drive 12hrs a day, cfm do the same things one.

yeah i agree too. the more time they spend on the road the more fatigue and the chances of them making mistakes is much higher.

True to a certain extent. If they drive for 12 hours a day which they chose not to.

I believe under e law, motorist r expected ti stop oprating their vehicles if tired, blabla. So might this be a case?
Really? I believe its common sense that one is not supposed to be driving nor riding if they are tired. But again its up to the individual.

visit the below site for the full spec comparision.

the 5M and 11M difference is for the still shots quality...

for video if you do not need the cinema quality video, the white edition will work fine...

its already way better than the original hero hd...

So far i notice night gopro still the best. Even the high end drift ghost night not as good as my low end gopro hero3 white. Its awesome so far. U can mount almost anywhere. Thats wat i love about gopro. Helmet, handlebar, swingarm.. U name it. I dont use the photo mode though. The photo resolution (5mp) is poor i have to admit. But at 1080p, can easily capture number plates. :)

anyone got the sony action cam as-15 or the JVC XA1.?

Ive been contemplating between these two cameras.. Both are somewhat of similar specs but have diff pro and cons.. hmm..

I have seen tons of comparison videos of action cams in youtube and sony seems to have the best video quality even in low light situation.. much better than go pro black in my opinion..

however, the thing that turns me off is sony's mountings.. due to the un-adjustability of the angle of camera, its rly non suitable for a full face normal helmet. unless u put it on top of helmet which looks funny and rly have to be the exact position coz u cant adjust it once u paste it.. the only mounting that can be used is the handlebar mount..

For JVC, its cheaper than Sony and I rly like the shape and its nakedness ( do not need a waterproof casing. is alrdy built waterproof)

the mounting option is suffice to be put at the side of helmet with a certain adjustabilty. however, comparing with sony and go pro, the video quality is slightly lacking...

Price of Sony as-15 is $469 with the standard package of spare battery and charger while the JVC XA1 is $369..

Anyone have personally tested these cameras and whats ur take on these?

Hi Duckling,

I am using Sony AS-15.

I mount it on my bike using a clamp mount similar to this:

clampMount.jpg

You can clamp it to most parts of your bike. I clamp it to the windscreen most of the time.

Mounting it on the helmet using the attachment supplied on the top of helmet makes me look like Ultraman. No way!

they do have a strap meant for ski/dirt bike goggles, if you want to try.

All in my review, got both video 1080P30 and 720P60.

If you want to see video, go youtube and search for "Supercam M2".

You can only get from http://

I am using this cam for 2 months, now is my main camera for daily riding.
