Motorcycle accident @ Bartley Rd towards Braddell Rd. Saw blood coming out from head. Looks bad, hopefully the rider recovers. Don't know whose fault, hopefully got witnesses or evidence footage from other vehicles. Too bad cant help much as I didnt witness the accident and in the rush.

Pls dont flame me guys.

Ride safe bikez, look out for irresponsible drivers. Cheerz....

I just order a mini spy camera, T8000, 12MP non waterproof for USD23. I intend to stick the camera inside my helmet so it will be protected from the rain.

Hi guys, I am using the SJ4000 camera.

Footage is really not bad, especially given the price.

 

One problem though is the buzzing. I ride a FZ1 and the vibrations makes either the footage rather buzzy. (I mount it on the mirror stem, which does not translate as much vibration compared to the cowling.)

Do you guys mount these camera on the helmet rather than the bike itself. Definitely will have minimal vibrations compared to mounting on the bike, but looks kind of weird i think.

Can try check Mobius actioncam. Alot of good reviews on this china cam. SJ4000 is a good complete set, but too bulky i find like gopro.

I was considering that. However the downside is the built in battery. Destroyed a #16 keychain cam due to rain which is totally my fault. Got a cheap china one but lasted less than a month before the battery starts to get bloated. Currently using the SJ1000 but seems like it is affected by the vibrations due to the mount being quite tall. Still searching for a good cam though. :cool: Edited by duo

I once use the normal car cam on my rxz with custom bracket with easy 10mm release screw. Works great but need to stiffen up the bracket as it is jumping all around. Ordered from qoo10 at a resonable 26sgd but need to at least use a class 10 mircosd card.

Hm, the new mobius actioncam has a removable batt right? I just ordered one and waiting for it to be ship too. Will see how i can diy a waterproof housing for it.

Mind sharing the link you got it from? A little search on some rc forum indicates there is a deal on the cam and the mounts together with waterproof case plus the sd card as well. :cool:

Mobius is built in battery and not waterproof. I dont own it yet but have been following its developement. Joovuu just released its waterproof casing for mobius.

Oh yea if by that you mean built in yes it is. But the battery is still removable by opening the backcover. The case is expensive 33USD almost half the camera price. I probably will just avoid water contact for now.

I got it from banggood lol dubious name. Nope, mine does not have any deal. Comes with the normal set. I paid $71.99USD for the wide angle lens mobius actioncam. I didnt want to buy from ebay since the seller from China (free shipping) does not have the one with wide angle lens. Till now item is not flag as ship yet since 3rd march. Hopefully not a scam website and luckily paid through paypal.

Should have bought from ebay. They are the official sellers. See the rc forum thread. They're list in there. And they do have wide angle lens. But its not listed. Need to pm them.

I was referring to this. The most bottom package, Costly but complete.

 

A short clip of the SJ1000. I am pretty much satisfied with the quality but not with the mounts that comes with it. They are just too flimsy that it vibrates a lot. Pardon the vibrations. :cool:

SPF came out with a clip on camera for their officers on duties. That camera quite cool leh clip on their uniform. It will definitely be no shake if on a rider. Anybody knows the brand? Or similar ones?
