Filming my ride

Capacitor type, 120° lens. Installed it so that it is switched on when bike is switched on.

Installed a USB socket for it. Both USB socket and recording unit is under the seat.

Will upload a couple of footages later on.

Thinking of doing likewise. Switched power socket? Does the micro sd card have to be inside before you switched on your bike or you can put it in later? Will wait for the clips.

2 new camera from SJCAM SJ5000 and SJ5000plus, the waterproof casing can plug in to a 5V cig charger to charge, similar to blackvue SC300. I bought the case from Taobao to try on my SJ4000, the side buttons may not be compatible though but should fit in.

Surfing the web on the Innovv c3 and came across the bikevue c3. Dual (front and back) cameras at an affordable price. Seems like the more I surf the harder to decide.

Need to get one soon. Had a near miss after a car sped past me so close it was inches away from my left handlebar. Was on the right lane waiting to make a right turn into the carpark.

duo, i thought you had one last time? anyway dont delay. i also search through the net and cannot find a suitable one. its either too big, or its small and short battery life, or cannot record in the night, the camera can only use small capacity sd card or something. there is no one perfect camera. something will make us feel that camera we bought is just insufficient. now i have a sjcam 4000

i have yet to try in the night.its place on top of my helmet. i got another camera (my old handphone) which i put at the back of my helmet.

It suddenly died. Got a new one from this link. http://www.facebook.com/Primero Its a front and rear cam. Fits what I look for in a cam. However need to fiddle abit with the settings to get it just right. ;)

Anyone knows where to get a SENA 10C at a good price?
The link above should direct you. However I am not sure if the price is good for you tho. Edited by duo

A short sample of a recording of the new on board cam. Not the best but pretty good enough for me. Still need to fiddle with the settings though.

Currently you can get them at Racing Works (Ubi) or Regina. Prices are around $400-ish. Saw they advertise it at $450. Bought mine higher than that :(

so duo, you bought the (VSYS DVR).? from the image, i see you have installed it on the bike. did you get the shop to install for you?

Yeah. Installed it myself. Not too difficult to install plus I am those who would prefer to know what and where the wires are and how its laid out. Just a personal preference. :o

Seems like Innovv have got a new camera. Its a dual front and rear camera and named the K1. A similar one below.

I believe these are from two days ago. New addition to the jam. Had to lanesplit slower than usual. :sian:

Not sure what is the cause of the jam at PIE towards Tuas. Was there a big accident? Decided to exit to get some food instead. Then stumbled upon a lorry driver who created ownself right turn pocket?

Saw a 100plus van crossing the white double white line to go into PIE. The van was behind me. I had also wanted to enter PIE too but saw a bike in the lane I was going into so figured that I shall wait to let him pass. Saw this reckless act in my mirrors. Luckily the rider was able to swerve out to the 1st lane and that lane was empty. Later on the same van 'forced' its way in causing a rider on the left lane to slow down and let the van in and ahead of him.

Unable to get footage of this due to having issues with the usb cable. Of all days it had to be yesterday. On the bright side due to them being alert they survived another day.
